Dr. Flint Rudd Packer, DO

My mother saw this doctor complaining about symptoms. He denied her experience which ended up being STAGE 4 CANCER. He could have caught this sooner if he did his job with empathy, compassion, and a brain. He has single handedly shortened my moms life. Do not trust him.

I called for an appointment was called names and told that I was no longer a client until I advised them I had children going then I was told an error had been made and my account would be unlocked. I changed providers as I was embarrassed by their treatment and even more upset that it was an error but they talked to me the way they did and the Dr. refused to discuss with me after several left messages. Apparently one family switching is not important.

Several improper diagnosis have sent me to the hospital and emergency room. There is more to being a doctor than giving you drugs and expecting a good outcome. This doctor practices medicine (giving drugs he thinks will work ). This doctor is overconfident , he can and does do harm. Please be cautious.

Dr Packer is total waste of time! After almost a hour wait he finally was able to see me in the exam room. When he came in there was not a hello or sorry about the wait just "tell me whats going on" as I started to tell him about my symptoms he got his phone out and started typing. I asked what he was doing, he didn't say anything for about a minute, when he finally looked up he said he was just looking up my symptoms. I then asked what it said, he didn't have anything to say which led me to believe he was doing anything but listen to me or look up info related to my symptoms. He told me some general facts (stuff you hear from you mom) and said to just give it time. This is unacceptable from a so called Professional. He has less personality than the phone he plays on while he works. Follow my advice and go elsewhere! There are plenty of doctors out there who will listen and work hard for you... This guy is a joke!

I began seeing Dr. Packer after he was recommended to me. I don't know if I could have been more disappointed. Not only did he fail to answer direct questions I presented to him, but he was rushing through my appointment. I understand that doctors double book their appointments regularly, but that does not make it okay for him to rush with me, or any other patient. Poorly done Dr. Packer, I won't be back.

I was not impressed with Dr. Packer's bedside manner. He was more concerned with entering information on his laptop then talking to me. He argued with me over a medication I was taking and said that there was no need for me to take it. He said he would run a drug report on me to see if I was being honest about my history with my medications, and I am not taking anything really strong or addictive. He made me feel guilty of needing any medication. I will not be going back to him, and I would not recommend him to anyone!!

I've been seeing Dr. Packer for 5 years now. I ended up being hospitalized with a serious illness and he seemed to brush it off like it was not a huge deal. When he came and did his rounds at the hospital, he came across as rude and put out. The follow up appointments consisted of him staring at his computer and me paying a fat bill.

I can not recommend Dr. Packer. I have been going to him for almost 10 years. I feel he no longer cares about his patients since the "computer" has entered the exam room. I think if he really cared about me, he would have noticed that my medication is fighting each other and not doing as it was intended. I asked him a few questions and he never answered me, just brushed it off and changed the subject. My health is too important to leave it to a physician that does not care. I am looking for another Dr. and I want to find one that does not bring the computer in the exam room. I know the information in our files is important, however, I think they can also take the personal touch away. What happen to an assistant in the room taking the notes so the Dr. can spend quality time with the patient.

They will bill you for a simple blood draw as an office visit, even if you never see the doctor! They have also billed for services not provided and then expect you to pay it. There are not abnormal circumstances in their book, and you will end up with the shaft every time. Besides you on see a doctor for maybe three minutes if you are lucky! I would not recommend these doctors or their clinic to anyone!

We recently moved to the area and were new patients. Many friends raved about doctor Packer but when we saw him, he paid more attention to his laptop than my kids. He had never seen them before but did not even touch them (do a very basic exam such as checking the glands on their necks, listening to the their heart beats, lungs, etc.) He prescribed what I asked for and sent me on my way. I got the medications they needed but he took my word for it without learning much about any of us. This wouldn't bother me if we had an established relationship with the doctor. In fact, I would prefer it. But he didn't know us and didn't take the time to find out. I paid $240 for him to write a scrip!
