Dr. Florence Uy Pua, MD

When questioned about the medication that she was giving my father she was not happy at all. She got very defensive and refused to speak to me on the phone. I was less than satisfied with her demeanor.

Dr. Pua has done so much to help me and my family, I can't thank her enough for her kindness, guidance and support. When my father died in 2006, my mother went to a great depression. That and all her ailments put her in a place where she simply did not want to live any more. Dr. Pua kept my mother alive through proper medication and professional advice. Dr. Pua never rushed us out of her office in all of her 10 years of service, she asked questions to determine the best solution. She scheduled therapy sessions to keep her moving and active and prescribed only the drugs that she really felt were needed. I believe that my mother is still alive today because of Dr. Pua. Dr. Pua has been my mother's doctor. My mom has been seeing Dr.Pua for about 7 years now. I was so happy with her services that I actual got rid of my doctor and started seeing Dr.Pua myself. Although Dr.Pua is always busy, she doesn't treat her patients like other doctors do. She spends quality time with her patientswhat's more, she understands if your running late... particularly with the elderly. I got rid of my mom's other doctor because she kicked us out of her office when we were 20 minutes late. She never apologized even after she found out that the reason why we were late was because we were coming in form out of town and we had to make many stops because mom was too sick to continue without multiple rest stops... and we called to inform her office along the way. Thank god we now have Dr. Pua. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Pua never keeps you waiting very long, gives out her personal cell number for patients to use, is both compassionate and caring but also knows how to properly counsel patients about problems. Visited her a couple of times and would highly recommend.

Dr. Pua is a very kind doctor that takes time to discuss any health issues you may have. She doesn't rush from patient to patient but spends time listening to your issues and sometimes personal ones that may tie into your health issues. She is highly highly recommended!
