The staff is very nice to me

My husband & I saw Dr. Nadal when we were little so when we had our daughter, he was the obvious choice. I have never had a complaint until now. After waiting an hour (they're busy-I get it), my daughter & I went back to wait for the provider. I'm not really sure who she was as she didn't introduce herself. I gave my daughters complete history (it was very short) as she is generally very healthy,She actually has not had to go to the DR. for a few years now-she's 9. I gave short background on my husband & my health history to try to help (as intermittent stomach pain can be difficult to diagnose in a child). She then told me our family should not drink whole milk (what??) & that seemed to be a point of argument for her. She advised it elevated cholesterol & none of us should drinking it. I have a major food allergy & also work as back office supervisor for a busy Endocrinology office in Tampa so I am familiar with food-diets, carbs, fats ect. My cholesterol is perfect by the way &… always has been but that was not the reason for our visit...She also advised if my daughter eats cheese, this could constipate her. I believe most of us were taught that at a very young age & that information was not really helpful. My daughter has always had chronic constipation, yet this is a different kind of pain & has been ongoing only for a month. I was told to get Miralax & basically continue with what I had been doing, just be more consistent. This might have been more agreeable if the provider had not been so unfriendly & condescending. Basically rude. At the end of the visit, she just walked out of the room & my daughter & I were left to try to figure out how/where to check out. I'm not sure if this is the norm but I certainly will find out who I saw & ask never to see her again if I continue with this offiice.

If you are looking for a medical care provider to blindly follow with no opportunity for dialogue or questioning- this is the place for you! As first time parents we had the audacity to ask whether a certain vaccine was necessary immediately and were harshly advised that, [we] dont want you as a patient if you are unwilling to follow our vaccine schedule! A concerned/curious parents questions should be thoroughly and patiently answered, not treated as an attack or opportunity to threaten. Patient care should be a partnership, and if you cant ask your Dr. (or Nurse as is always the case at this facility) questions about you or your childs health, who can you ask?The office is cute and kid friendly. Highly recommend this practice for those lacking any inquisitive traits. Good luck!

When i go to Nadals i always take my children to see Joyce Young and her nurse. She is great with my kids, so soft spoken and always takes her time in the room with us. I never feel rushed and she always answers all of my questions, and i also like her nurse, not sure of her name but shes tall! she takes care of my kids great before every visit never scares them. I recommend seeing Joyce out of all the nurses. The wait might be longer, but what doctors office do you go to that you dont have to wait? and i always get my appointments when needed, i love this place and the train station theme!

Wait time in the office was 45 min then you wait in the bac room for another 20 min. To me that is a long time to wait with a toddler. You never get to see the same doctor and if you do its because you schedule an appt. way in advanced. I believe that no doctor should perscribe a perscription to a toddler if they are not sure what the problem is. The hope this works method does not work with me. I have been with them for three years and nothing has improved.

Dr.Nadal knows his stuff and is great with my four kids. Always a very attentive doc. Comes from a long-line of docs in his family. So you can tell being a doc is in his blood.

Very caring and methodical doctor. I really value his care for my children.
