Dr. Penciu has always been very impressive in his concern for my wellbeing both physical and mental. He has the ability to explain everything in a way that is very understandable without being condescending. Appointments with him are never rushed and there is plenty of time to ask questions and receive thoughtful and informative answers.

Dr Penciu is a very nice doctor. He cares for his patients and listens. I would recommend him.

I cannot say enough about how I believe Dr. Penciu to be the best, most caring doctor I've ever met. Truly. Do not read these reviews on negativity. Give him a shot. You will not be disappointed! Even if you feel like you guys don't click, what's the harm in checking him out? I recommend him and I'm a tough cookie when it comes to my healthcare.

Dr. Penciu has got to be one of the sweetest, kindest, most understanding doctors I have ever had. (Only comparable to my OB and daughter's pediatrician!) He really listened to my concerns, even having to excuse himself to quickly research something I'd asked about, but came right back and WANTED to know more about how I was feeling and thinking. He even tried to build up my confidence and restore my self-esteem by explaining that some of my issues could be a result of my medications. Dr. Penciu even had my blood work ordered and did an AC1 test right there in the office so that he could assure me that I wasn't even diabetic! Honestly, I love him and I know you will too. I prefer doctors who are methodical and professional, but also personable and caring. I do not like new age types of medical care or natural/homeopathic kinds of care. I will continue seeing Dr. Penciu as long as we are close to each other (and, heck, that might not even matter!) and as long as he's accepting my… insurance :)

Couldn't ask for a better PCP, spends time explaining diagnosis and treatment options. Genuinely cares about his patients and the care they receive.
