Dr. Fortunata Grace Milano, MD

We have only seen her a few times ; Not impressed . I agree with the last post , that she seems to push MORE meds . After adding a " new " med for 2 wks , my child was totally off the wall . After learning my child was talking about suicide , and telling me to lock up all meds ; She turned around , asked how sleep was going for the child , and asked the CHILD if they needed something to help them sleep . Why would you offer sleeping pills to a suicidal child ? The biggest turn off for me ? I wanted to speak to the doc WITHOUT my child ; I was given maybe 3-4 mins . I was informed by Dr. Milano , That she NEVER talks to the parent or guardian WITHOUT the child present . It is my opinion that as a parent , we have every right to speak with ANY Doctor ( that is treating my child ) , PRIVATELY ! It is my belief that there are things children don't need to hear or know . I don't even take kids along to conferences .

My son has seen this doctor for two years because our insurance did not have any others we could see. This doctor just got worse with time. Rude, pill pushing, lets try this, lets try that, and see what happens. Rushes you out the door before you feel like you have even sat down. I would not recommend her at all!
