Dr. Frances Maria Alba, MD

Dr. Alba is always patient, compassionate and thorough. She makes sure all of my questions are answered, monitors me for return of cancer, and sets me up and prepares me for next steps. I always know what to expect short term and long term.

Long waiting time, little time spent with patient, little availability to ask physician questions, felt treated like one of too many patients she had to see that day and wanted to get done asap. On the positive side, she seemed competent. Her staff was great.

Before I saw Dr. Alba, everyone else I saw for the past year told me I just had a UTI and gave me antibiotics. She diagnosed my cancer, and expedited my treatment. I had surgery with her and felt that I had excellent care. I believe that she saved my life.

The worst experience I ever had with a doctor. She acted like it was in my head did not even try to figure out what my problem was. We to another urologist and found my problem and had to have surgery. I would not recommend her to anyone.
