Dr. Frances Irene Hamilton, MD

Dr. Hamilton used to be kind and caring. Now she barely acknowledges me and rushes me out of the room as fast as she can. I'm going to find another doctor.

Felt unheard throughout visit... didn't feel as if I was in the care of a holistic practitioner at all. Twice she raised the point about booster shots ... asked about calcium... areas that holistic practitioners generally don't focus on. Said we would go through my history in detail... a few questions and moments later she was on her way out the door. I interjected... 'what about my history?' She responded, 'we went through it... did you have something to add? '

This was a very bad experience. I had to wait an hours past my appointment until I say Dr Hamilton. Once I finally was able to see her she rushed through her time with me I did not have tie to explain all of my health concerns. She did the worst PAP I have ever received. She was very aggressive, rough, and it hurts. I'm 40 and have had many PAP's in my life and this was the worst by far. I am very upset since I was excited she was a holistic DR. she mentioned nothing holistic my whole visit and rushed the whole time. I would not recommend this Dr. at ALL.

I found that Dr. Hamilton was not a good listener and not interested in what I had to say-she seemed more interested in what she had to say. I found her to be in a hurry and this added more nervousness to the interaction between us. She was judgmental and critical towards my teenage daughter, rather than helpful or encouraging or positive. I am looking for another doctor, one who will take the time to connect with me and listen to me and where I will feel calm and at ease, not rushed or nervous.

I've had nothing but problems with. Dr Hamilton and her staff. After many years of seeing her it has got progressively worse. It takes a week to get a refill call to the pharmacy, and am unable to get a call back from her. Her demeanor is always hurried, definitely not a holistic approach. Will cancel all my appointments and will go to another physician.

The staff was rude. Dr Hamilton is in the wrong line of work, as she is more interested in talking than listening, more in espousing her views than tuning in to patient, very poor with female teenagers, showed my daughter Gyn calipers at her 12 year old visit -and told her she would be giving her a vaginal exam on her 13th visit. Guess who NEVER wanted to come again. Lost a patient on that one, along with many other reasons

This visit was for a physical and I liked how Dr Hamilton took the time to go through my med history, asking insightful questions, and answering my questions. Her approach is looking at the full person and the world they live in not just one organ at a time.

Even after 15+ visits she still walks into the examination room as if it's the first time we've met. There's no conversation regarding the results of Tests/ X rays/ Specialists/ Therapists/ or Meds. She's forgotten to sign one prescription and written another incorrectly. Phone calls are not returned and the wait time for a prescription is over a week.

-spends very little time with patient-does not LISTEN to what you say but rather reflects her views-for a "holistic" physician she does NOT look at the whole picture...doesn't seem interested in taking the time to do so-insensitive bedside mannershe's not "horrible", but she definitely is not "good" and does not seem to be interested in "helping" a patient. if you have anything that requires a true diagnosis, i would seek help elsewhere.

I find Dr. Hamilton's bedside manner to be sorely lacking. She makes you feel like she can't wait to be done with you. She is also poor on follow-up, short on information (it's like pulling teeth to get more than a cryptic answer out of her), but worst of all, she acts superior, egotistical, and even defensive. I've been seeing her for a few years for regular check-ups and this last appointment has made me decide I will no longer be going to her, and if asked, I will actively recommend others against seeing her.
