Dr. Francine Evena Atterberry, MD

My kids have been seeing her since birth and she is always nice, thorough, and I trust she giving me the best medical advice. I love that she didn't do that weird annoying, fake baby talk thing that other Pediatricians did. She also fully supported breast feeding and offered great advice

The office staff is rude and unprofessional, and the wait is ridiculous.The doctor herself is rude, lacks any kind of bedside manner and can be very condescending. She rushes thru the visit, does not discuss the overall health of the child and can become agitated and argumentative if you question something. I've only dealt with her behavior because the network gave me the run around whenever I asked for a new doctor and my daughter only needed to see her once or twice a year.My overall opinion is that she DOES NOT need to work with children. Children need a doctor that makes them feel warm and fuzzy, as the whole "doctor" experience is scary enough. And parents need a doctor that listens, discusses the well being of the child, and who CARES!

The office staff is rude and unprofessional, they will offer an appointment same day, but be prepared to wait (over an hour). The doctor will also only address the reason for the visit - she does not look at the overall health of the child. Each visit is very rushed and Dr. Atterberry can be very condescending. My advice is to look elsewhere for a doctor.

She is the alternate doctor for our regular pediatrician. She is very uncertain about diagnosis' and has given us misinformation about care on several occasions. I would rather take my child to the emergency room or wait for another doctor, than to see her for treatment. She's been with our medical group since at least 1997, and she does not seem to know what she's doing.
