Dr. Kaufman, My name is Patrick J. Lavelle. I do not have your personal address or contact information, so for that I apologize. But after all this time, I'd like to pass onto to you and your brother's a HUGE thank you from me for what your father did along with input from John Coulter [Midwest Emery/Safeway Truck Lines]. My father passed away unexpectedly while I was in my freshman year at USF, Tampa. Together, they made it possible for me to continue with my education, graduate, and have an illustrious career along with a great wife and two children and two grandchildren. Without your father, who knows what would have become of my life. I am truly blessed beyond expression. Now 50 years later, here I am. Right where I am supposed to be thanking you for everything your father provided to our family and especially my mother. So, thank you, Gary & John from the bottom of my heart. Peace.
