Dr. Francis D Dickson, MD

Office staff Doctor no longer works there. Does anyone know what happened to him?

I have been a patient of Dr. Dickson for 10+ years and I absolutely love him. He is so soft spoken, professional, and has the best bedside manner ever. I have referred all of my friends to him and I know 4 friends who visit him on a regular basis.

Awesome Doctor

Dr. Dickson's beside manner exceeds excellent; he is professional at all times but his smile and tone are always warm and friendly. He encourages questions and is thorough in his responses and recommendations. I've been a patient for a just under 10 years and I wish I had known about him earlier. I have recommended three friends and they thank me every time I see them.

Dr. Dickson diagnosed me endometriosis after several appointments of listening to my symptoms. He was the first doctor out of three doctors in two years who actually listened to me and could provide a possible diagnosis. However, When Dr. Dickson explained his approach for the surgery I was. It comfortable. He is using out of date techniques. Many of the endometriosis literature that I read stated that endometriosis should be cut not burned. Burning can cause damage and not removing the entirety of the endometriosis. I was happy for his diagnosis but I went elsewhere for the actual surgery.

Wonderful doctor, you will feel so at ease. Dr. Dickson is so patience with you. I can talk to him about anything and don't feel embarrass or silly to ask questions. The staff is great also. I have recommend him to family and friends

My first appointment with Dr. Dickson was an emergency appointment where I was referred by a nurse. I was very pleased with his calm and pleasant manner and his concern for my comfort and health. He is a very good doctor who has performed surgery on me and is still treating me for endometriosis. My only complaints are with the office staff. I don't even know where to begin... I thought service and appointments would improve when they consolidated to one location, but not much has changed. At least now they don't schedule me at the wrong location or with the wrong doctor. I am always playing phone-tag to make an appointment, not to mention the disdain and lack of friendliness in the voice of anyone I speak with there. Last time my appointment was at 1pm so I arrived early as usual. A sign over the closed window stated they were at lunch and would return at 1pm. It was 1:20 before that window was opened, and during the time between 1-1:20 I could hear chatter and laughter… behind the window. By this time there were other women in the waiting room and when that window was finally opened, the staff made no eye contact or even a greeting to patients waiting. And I still had to wait more. My arms are always very bruised after blood work, and I am not informed of results unless I ask --no news is good news? sure, but unprofessional from a medical office. These are just a few examples of my dissatisfaction with the staff. If it weren't for how compassionate and thorough Dr. Dickson is, I would go elsewhere...

Love Dr. Dickson! Been going to him for over twenty two years and he has never let me down! He delivered both of my children and have undergone two surgeries with him. I trust him with my life. He is a wonderful doctor!

He is a wonderful caring doctor. The reception desk is not too good. They book several people at the same time in 15 minute intervals for the same doctor. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Dr. Dickson has been great for me and my daughter. He is the easiest to talk to about anything and he is also warm and friendly.
