Francis J. Feeney, DMD, MDS
As an orthodontist, it is very rewarding to make my patients feel great about their smiles. We often think of the oral health benefits of orthodontic treatment, but there are psychological perks, too! As patients' teeth straighten, I can see their happiness and confidence grow. As they smile more, it makes me feel good about what I get to do every day. I don't think that I will ever tire of that feeling.
Our team works together to give the patients the very best in orthodontic care, and our office is always full of laughter! I have been blessed with great patients and I look forward to seeing every one of them, and showing them how much fun orthodontics can be.
Education
I attended Fairfield University, where I completed my Bachelor of Science Degree. I then continued on to the University of Connecticut, receiving my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. My Orthodontic Specialty Certificate and Master …of Dental Science Degree were completed at the University of Connecticut in 1989.
Continuing education is an important aspect of my practice. I take numerous classes and attend seminars on the newest and most effective orthodontic technology in order to provide my patients with the best care possible.
Community Involvement
Because I live and work in the same community, being involved means a lot to me. During Children's National Dental Hygiene Month, I give numerous presentations to youngsters on the importance of dental care. I am also an active sponsor of the Ludlow Boys and Girls Club.
Outside the Office
I am a native of Southbury, CT, and currently reside in Wilbraham with my wife, Jeanne, our daughter, Erin, and our dog named Cyclone. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, biking, swimming, running, hiking, and training for triathlons. I’ve even recently completed my first Ironman competition!
