Dr. Francis Alouysious Fraser, MD

Never answered a page about a patient that just had surgery by him and the stint was falling out and patient was bleeding badly. Since he never answered the page from the hospital patient was transferred out to another hospital to have another surgery to remove fallen stint and remove several blood clots that had formed. Stint fell only one day after surgery. When you are in a small town and the only urologist in town answer the page from the ER. I do not recommend this doctor. Not when my friends life was almost lost from lack of just answering a phone.

They diagnosed my father with prostate cancer and ordered a bone scan. When we went in for results of bone scan, we were advised doc was in surgery and the nurse read the report to us. She could not answer any questions about the report at all. She said she would reschedule us an appt with doc and get referral sent to oncologist we chose. They never reset appt and further would not take our calls for answers. After numerous calls to both this office and the oncologists office, we were notified they never sent in the referral. They also did not upload the proper tests so the oncologist could read the report to us. I will admit I advised them that my dad may be just another patient to them, but he is my dad and this type of treatment after being told he has cancer is unheard of and furthermore, after a month of continued waiting, they just now today called my dad to set up a follow up appt. Of course he is not going back to them if they have this poor work ethic and horrible patient… care. I can only hope that we have caught this early enough to prevent it spreading but without knowing the actual results of the scan, we dont know where we stand at this time.

My dad, Roy Owens, saw Dr. Fraser in Williamson, WV for prostate cancer. Due to this doctor’s knowledge my dad beat cancer! Thanks!

My appointments have been rescheduled way too many times...thumbs down dude.

My issues weren't with Dr Frasier but his staff. They were rude and thought they knew better than the doctor.

Good Doc, but the staff is not efficient. Had to call 4 days after appt to remind them to schedule a CAT scan. They are not on the ball at all. We will continue to see Dr. Fraser because we like him and just stay on his staff for any follow-up.

One of the most humble, generous and down to earth doctors I have ever met. Super friendly. Spent a lot of time with me.

Very disappointed no bedside manner no time for patient will not go back

Dr. Fraser left me in the surgery prep area, with an IV, for over FIVE HOURS waiting for him to do my procedure. I discovered that, during the last TWO HOURS of that time, he was sitting in a hospital staff meeting. After FIVE HOURS, I called the procedure off and had the nurse remove the IV. He then showed up trying to use the excuse that, "It was my first staff meeting, so I didn't want to leave." I was not the only patient he left in the lurch! He appears to have absolutely no concern for his patients. I'm going to another urologist, out-of-state.
