Dr. Francis John Gallagher, MD

Dr. Gallagher is treating me for Lupus. I have stayed in remission ever since I started seeing him. He spends time with you and is easy to understand.

I have been seeing Dr. Gallagher for nearly two years and in that time he has helped me navigate through diagnoses of RA and fibromyalgia. Getting diagnosed with these conditions was stressful for me, but he was very thorough in his testing and very good at articulating what these diagnoses meant. Dr. Gallagher has always listened closely to my concerns and has scheduled extra diagnostic testing, xrays, as well as referrals to other specialists. I truly believe he has done everything he can to ease my symptoms and through his other referrals, I have been able to get even more help for other medical concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Gallagher

Dr. Gallagher has been treating me for well over 7 years now , since the first visit till my recent one I’ve never left his office confused or upset about my treatment. I’m always seen within a reasonable time frame when I need to get in for a last minute appointment regarding any health problems I’m experiencing. He always answers my questions in an easy to understand manner and never tries to push medications on me . An overall excellent doctor and excellent practice !!

Dr. Gallagher is a horrible doctor. He told me I had rheumatoid arthritis, and I thought this for a total of 10 years. I went through numerous tests and gave many vials of blood at his office. Dr. Gallagher wanted me to go on Humira. I got approved by my insurance but after talking with my husband we decided there were too many unknowns that the drug could cause. I knew from research the the drug could cause lymphoma. So, when I told Dr. Gallagher I was not comfortable taking the drug, he kicked me out of his practice. So, I found another well-known doctor, and she told me, that I haven't ever had rheumatoid arthritis. Not only haven't I ever had this, Dr. Gallagher neglected to write anything about it on my chart. Instead he wrote an inconclusive diagnosis on my chart. My new doctor showed me my chart and all my results from his notes. She also said his tests would never have proven whether I had rheumatoid arthritis or not. Gallagher completely scammed me and my insurance… company after 14 X-rays and 27 vials of blood. It turns out I have ankylosingspondyllitis.

Came to Dr. Gallagher with chronic joint pain. Dr immediately jumped to conclusion its "gout". Started Gout control regiment with no pain management. After several visits, finally got Dr. to consider psoriatic arthritis, reluctantly Dr began arthritis control regiment, still no pain management. After six months, ruled out gout and Dr. still reluctant to address pain management in hopes that arthritis regime will relieve pain. Currently seeking different rheumatologist. One last note --- Dr. clearly needs to improve communication skills because this Dr. does not comprehend articulate client feedback in both verbal and written forms.
