Dr. Francis Dominic Pagani, MD

Thought I needed open heart surgery due to micro valve prolapse issues. Referred to Dr. Pagani from my local Dr. for a second opinion. Dr. Pagani reviewed my case/history and then suggested surgery based on what he reviewed from my records. Scheduled a surgery date and had a full pre-op review one week prior to the surgery. Dr. Pagani reviewed my most current results of the tests and was not satisfied of the results. He then ordered more extensive tests to get a better picture of the function of my heart that may have require surgery earlier. To his surprise, he found that the more extensive tests revealed the valve was in “moderate” stage and that surgery was not as eminent as originally thought! We are now going to re-evaluate my situation in 3 months to see the effect time has had on the heart. I continue to have complete confidence in Dr. Pagani and would not hesitate to refer him, and his staff, to any of my friends. He is a soft spoken, careing person that has you,… his patient, in his best interest!!!! ,

I found him to be very arrogant and asked what went wrong with my husbands surgery and he just said sometimes this happens. I asked why this happened and he just looked down at his shoes. Follow up after visit? My husband died
