Dr. Francis Xavier Walsh, MD

I am so grateful to have Dr. Walsh as my PCP, as well as my children's. He is a kind, gentle, and compassionate human being. He truly cares about his patients and acts with the utmost skill and wisdom. So knowledgeable and reassuring. I don't know what we would do without him. Highly recommend!

I love that Dr Walsh does not under treat or over treat. He is so careful listening to symptoms and asking questions. In 32 years he has cured every illness we have had, both mild and serious. He makes you get on things fast if he is worried. He is brilliant, humble and so knowledgeable, also kind.

I'm a relatively new patient and have been pleased with Dr Mayus & Dr Shajan-both young guys with great bedside manner (haven't met Walsh, the owner of the practice). On the downside, patients can be treated quite poorly by their front desk personnel. On one occasion I was repeatedly reprimanded for an outstanding balance for a bill I had not yet received. That did not matter to Natalie who repeated her reprimand. Frustrated, I spoke to Javier, the office manager, but he was less concerned with the behavior of his personnel than he was with the bill. Eventually, he acknowledged that the bill had not been mailed. A second criticism relates to insurance coverage. I have the impression that they have little idea...and don't seem to care, about what costs are or are not covered, so as a patient you must be aware. While I like Mayus & Shajan, it's hard to recommend this practice when treatment by the office personnel can be so poor. I could be wrong, but it seems like a new… practice trying to get organized and are struggling.

There should be more doctors like Dr. Walsh - very kind, compassionate and accurate. I've yet to find a doctor, specialist, etc. that comes anywhere near Dr. Walsh's expertise & care. Dedicated and caring, he is simply the best.

dr. walsh is awonderful doctor who has always given ecellent medical care and is very kind and compassioate doctor . his bedside manner is excellent and always gives an accurate diagnosis.

His Star is tarnished: he's been slippingup too often, mistaken me for another patient symptom wise few times--to my face in person. One particular incident as example--claims I was always 120 lbssince I was his patient to present date... Not quite; was always between 96 lbs to 102 lbs. . Been pt. of his for many years and watched him slip often the past 2 yrs. to the point I need to seek out a new physician to be properly tested and diagnosed then, treated for such, accordingly. Tests that were done the past 1 1/2 yrs were constantly repeated despite fact told being tested with a more sensitive test to better see the levels. Well, so I thought it was to be as such (from what he stated twice) until, his lab tech decided to change the tests for something SHE thought was more appropriate--not what she was specifically told to do tests for (real nice!). This was done twice so far. Dr. Walsh apparently allows it and doesn't stop this--just told me "let's take another test, the one more… sensitive this time". My reply-NO! I haven't been back since. The problem still exists medically that's gone untreated past 2 yrs to present. Got sick of the nonsense and his lack of control over his support staff and, his making too many errors along with mixing me up with other patients (literally to my face as he stands in front of me in exam room). What more can I say... his star has been tarnished and steadily progressing further down hill.
