We love Dr Caycedo. We were in a very scary predicament and Dr C was very reassuring. He did a fabulous job and has been accessible throughout the ordeal

I have never had been a person to go to the doctor, but after bad fall i need the best surgeon in Birmingham. Dr. Caycedo was that surgeon, doctor and wise friend. I didnt find him he found me and gave me hope and encouragement if I would follow his instructions. I did and am now walking on that shattered ankle once again. I can rate this fine physician as 100 out of 100.God bless Dr. Caycedo

This doctor RUINED my foot. I was referred to him by his good friend Dr. Paul Scalisi of the Seale Harris Clinic. I had been using the SHC for a number of years and trusted their referrals. This doctor did unnecessary surgery on my foot which resulted in. all of my toes turning under. I am now walking on the (knuckles) of my toes with separators. It is very painful and at my age (78) it would be unwise to go through another surgery to straighten them.However, I did have to have surgery on one toe as a result of his incompetency. I agree with the person who said "Do not trust him."

Dr. Caycedo put me back together very well. I broke my tib into three pieces, and required a titanium rod, ankle plate, and two screws in my ankle. I have had no after surgery complications, and after 3 1/2 months, I am almost back to normal with minimum pain. Dr. Caycedo also takes time to listen to your concerns, and answers your questions without being condescending.

Back in 2006, I suffered a gruesome Tibia & Fibula compound fracture while playing soccer. Dr Caycedo performed surgery on my leg after a long ambulance ride to his practice. He inserted a titanium rod inside my tibia and also added 4 screws at the ankle and knee. He also stitched up the area where the bones broke through the skin. I spent countless hours reading horror stories from similar cases with awful post surgery complications. My recovery was perfect and 6 months later i was back playing soccer. To this date I have yet to experience any issues with my leg. I will forever be grateful for Dr Francisco Caycedo's work. Needless to say, I highly recommend him.

Dr Caycedo is a great specialist. He diagnosed and treated my problem with great results. He does not recommend surgery without strong medical evidence that it is to the benefit of the patient. He takes time with each patient to explain issues and surgical options. Will strongly recommend this doctor.

After a complicated knee trauma i have been to different physicians in birmingham. I thought my knee won`t be the same anymore since my collegue recommended Dr. Caycedo. First I was skeptical because there was no specialist that could help me before. But it was the best decision that I could make! Dr. Caycedo was very patient and compared to other physicians he listened to me very carefully. Now i am able to ride a bike again without any problems, due to the competent treatment of this brilliant doctor! Thank you!

I have known Dr Caycedo for 20 plus years. As a physical therapist, I have had the opportunity to treat several of his post operative patients including my son's complicated ankle fracture. I have witnessed a successful outcome with his patients and most of them have been able to return to sports or prior activities without restrictions. He is the kind of doctor who takes valuable time examining patients and who takes an extra mile explaining to the professional team involved in the care of his patients the procedure that he has done, the precautions and goals of each patient.

I have known Dr. Caycedo for over 20 years. He is one of the most professional, kind and knowledgable individuals I have ever known. He has a wonderful bedside manner and takes time to explain everything to his patients. I recommend him without reservation. Do not let angry people's comments cloud your judgement. Visit Dr. Caycedo yourself and you will realize he is an outstanding doctor.

Dr. Caycedo was amazing when I fractured my ankle and he repaired it with few sugeries and really helped me heal from it. I had gotten some other injuries in other places too, like my wrist and he was able to easily repair it with minimal surgery and it was as good as new in no time! I also give a great thanks to Olga his assistant who was a great help. overall I loved this doctor and do not understand any of the bad reviews.
