Great office with great doctors. Very thorough & treatment is top notch.

Dr. Moreno has been my son's patient for over 8 years. He has seen us through colds, broken arms and school checkups. My son, who will be heading off to college this fall, got his last check up from Dr. Moreno. Maybe I'm just being an over-sensitive mom, but the only negative thing I can say about Dr. Moreno and his practice, is that they don't see patients after 18 years of age.

Experience really is peace of mind. Excellent Dr. From all the states that we have lived, Dr Moreno is by far the best pediatrician for our daughters. His medical team is great, you can see any of the doctors at Katy Memorial Pediatrics and you won't be disappointed. We always recommend him to all our friends.

My newborn was very fussy and cried and screamed 24/7 after 4 visits with Dr Segal and explaining her symptoms, I was told to switch her formula about 5 times and that she was just fussy. Finally I asked to see Dr. Moreno. We explained my daughters symptoms and he diagnosed her with Acid Reflux and put her on prevacid. As a first time mother to a newborn I was hesitant on giving my daughter that medicine and my daughter still showing the same symptoms we decided to seek a second opinion. I transferred her records so the doctor could see what had been done. I never transferred her records because I wanted to switch doctors,I simply did it because I wanted a second opinion. My daughter became sick this past week so I made an appointment to get her checked out. As I was checking out the receptionist told me my daughter was no longer able to come back to Dr. Morenos office. I asked why and I was told because we transferred her records and once you do that you can no see the doctor. I was… upset, when I called to transfer I told the woman on the phone why I was doing it , it was for a second opinion. Not because I wanted to have a new doctor. The woman than proceeded to call security on me because I asked to speak to the office manager or doctor Moreno. The heavy set woman had the nerve to say to me" what , we are good enough now that you need to see a doctor ". That was uncalled for and unprofessional. I have the right to seek a second opinion, no one ever told me I couldn't come back if I transferred records to seek a second opinion. When I called and explained to the receptionist what I was trying to do she said that was fine . I feel I was told the wrong info. If I wasn't able to come back why wasn't I told when I made the appointment that day or when I checked in. I have nothing nice to say about this office and the way my daughter and I was treated.

We search around and visited 3 other pediatricians before selecting Dr. Moreno. His experience in invaluable, and what we value the most is that he always takes the time to hear our concerns and address them properly, I know that by the time I write this review Vitals.com already fix the Doctor information that was wrong.I had read a couple of the reviews which I found a little hard to believe, first, I'm not a doctor but ear infections does not cause leukemia and any doctor will suggest to remove tonsils with high recurrence of ear infections. And the other review, anyone who knows Dr. Moreno will testify that he will never send you to eat junk food, he is the No 1 advocate of proper exercise and diet, he actually is the embodiment of that; so I'll take that you are rating the wrong doctor.

I took my daughter to this Doctor twice, she was having nasal congestion and cough, he gave him antibiotics and recommended a tonsil surgery, otherwise he said the problem was going to continue, two months later my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, this person didn't even took the time to order additional tests to support his diagnosis.

I don't even know where to start with Dr. Moreno.......he missed serious ENT issues with my son and diagnosed it as "slow to speak because of learning two languages" when after second opinion my son had to have surgery to repair the damage already caused from an ear infection they say was there for OVER 1 YR!!!!! He told us to feed our children WHATEVER they wanted including junk food non-stop to help them gain weight........they were both in the 97%th percentile for their age and height......and then told us we were denying them food when we told him what he was saying was assanine!!!! We saw him one day and came back for a follow up scheduled by him, less than a week later, and the man had NO IDEA what we had come in for......PLEASE RETIRE!!!!

The office staff is courteous they really care about our kids. The main concern at Katy Memorial Pediatrics is the the kids. The doctors their are all so experienced and they take the time to actually listen to your concerns.
