Dr. Frank Emidio Barone, MD

This is my second attempt to write this long and overdue review. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Frank Barone’s since 2009. I had a very bad facial Staph infection that caused a lot of internal facial scarring. The scarring started to cause my lower lids to pull downward, exposing the sclera and this was causing constant eye tearing all the time. I had been to my ophthalmologist, and he did a skin graft to my lower lids and this helped temporarily. I then went to a world renowned doctor in Chicago, and he performed a palate graft to my lower lids. Again, this helped for a few years. After so many years of suffering from terrible dry eye syndrome, Dr. Barone performed an AlloDerm graft and reposition-ed my eyes to a natural position. I can’t express this enough…..I LOVE my eyes now! My constant tearing is gone, and I can now look into a mirror and smile at what I see! Dr. Barone is an amazing, knowledgeable, kind, and very compassionate man. He listens to his patients concerns, and he… actually truly cares! I would highly recommend Dr. Frank Barone for all your cosmetic issues and skincare needs. He not only addresses your surgical wants and needs, but he also is so very knowledgeable with keeping your skin very healthy and beautiful! Finally, Dr. Barone, his two nurses, Julie and Susie, are very talented and compassionate as well. The front desk is just yet another amazing experience. The girls up front are professional yet down to earth. I have never experienced a nicer office than this one. Truly I feel blessed!

Though Mr. Barone and staff are friendly and provide a good after-care program for post surgery, if you are looking to correct an eyelid, I would recommend not making my mistake and find yourself an oculoplastic surgeon. I had the misfortune of seeking to correct only one droopy eyelid in an unnecessary over-involved invasive procedure and walked away with two botched eyelids that are painstakingly irreversible.

Dr.Barone and his staff are very professional, compassionate, and strive for excellence. Not only is Dr.Barone the top plastic surgeon in our area he cares about his patients and has an incredible work ethic. I highly recommend!

The results were terrible, overdone and fake. Lots of side effects and complications due to incorrect filler placement and too much filler. You can see the staff having obvious Botox/filler treatments, too big of lips that don't look natural at all, very overdone. Would not recommend him for someone looking for a natural sophisticated result. Plus they push really hard to buy their ridiculously expensive skin care products! And get ready for wait for an hour for your appointment, no consideration of your time.

All my questions and concerns were taking care off with great professionalism. I am very thankful for the result. My body looks great and I feel great about myself

I truly feel Dr. Barone is the best Dr. in Toledo. His staff is always friendly and professional. I had Fraxel and Restylane done and will turn 50 this month. I am so pleased with the results - as I look and feel much better about myself! I no longer look tired! Thanks Dr. Barone !

I made an appointment for Restylane injection. I have done this procedure in Europe for several years ( my sister is a plastic surgeon.) Since I was not be able to travel that particular year I decided to use the local expertise. What a HUGE mistake! Instead of using the local anesthesia (cream) or nothing at all Dr. Barone numbed my facial nerves: The pain was unbearable and long lasting and absolutely worthless. Maybe he is good at something: he is absolutely clueless about non surgical procedures...

Felt that the doctor had good surgical skills but very poor people skills. He appeared distracted when I asked him questions. Support staff was helpful and his office staff was very nice. Wait time was horrible-an hour and a half on all occasions-would not go back to that office for anything in the future due to doctors attitude and long wait time.

Dr. Barone is a WIZARD. This man is the best in the business! The staff is very caring and concerned with all of Dr. Barone's patients. I am so happy with his work I cannot express how professional this man is and the great results he achieves through his many talents. He is a busy man because he is so good. Dr. Barone is "god sent" because he makes so many people happy and he changes lives for the better. He has given me 15 years of my youth back. I researched a lot of plastic surgeons and his qualifications far exceed most. He is the best!
