This doctor interrupted constantly, bedside manner poor. Exuded a lot of confidence about what he knew. My husband has already had two antibiotic treatments for sinusitis, he wrote two more antibiotic prescriptions for sinusitis and prednisone. My husband has been having sleep issues, (hadn't slept for 40 days). Prednisone weakens immunity and wires you (many can't sleep on it). Not sure this was good advice. Also said to stop taking sleep medications. This doctor is old school and doesn't have many alternative treatments for sinusitis. We were charged $172, actual value of visit around $50.

I would rate 'ease of appointment as 5 stars. The reason might be because others who have heard about him stay away in droves. He was prompt and the wait time was 5 stars, probably for the same reason I postulated about. His staff was courteous, more than I can say about him. His 'bedside manner' was one of the most arrogant and rude that I've ever seen in a doctor. Accurate diagnosis? Probably. He interrupted me over and over and over. I sometimes only got a few words out before he interrupted and seems to have taken interrupting into an art form. I realize that doctors might interrupt a patient if the conversation veers into 'complaints about a family member' or something not really needed for a diagnosis but that wasn't the case with me. One time I didn't hear the last few words of his sentence. I said "I'm sorry, I a little hard of hearing and didn't........." At that point he stopped and said "Don't interrupt me!" Which is really the pot calling the kettle… black. Later in the appointment I again had to ask him to repeat, since I hadn't heard him. This time he erupted, turned red and said "You come to me for advice! I'm the expert, you're the patient and you have to remember that." Geesh! LOL So---- the 'time spent with me' category---- is meaningless since part of that time was spent lecturing me about how to listen. No need to answer 'follow up' since I'll never go back to him and will tell everyone I know about my experience with him.
