Will change your appointment last minute. Like your time is not valuable. Scheduling issues for the office. Good doctor but over worked.

Dr entered hospital room- wanted his assistant to give him my history- he had not reviewed chart at all. Neither he nor his assistant was aware of changes to my medicine made by his partner. He REFUSED to go over ECHO results with me. He Did not want to hear or answer any questions- (Important questions like: what should be dose of my blood pressure medicine, how much lasix should be taken, should there be any restriction on fluid or salt intake) He only wanted to discharge me- even though previous dr said it would take 1-2 days to make sure fluid was off lungs & oral meds working. When we tried to ask questions, he responded: “Hurry up. I have a patient waiting on the table downstairs.” My reply: “Good grief! You need to go take care of the most critical patient first by all means. Then, you can review my chart and return to discuss my condition- even if it is tomorrow!” I realize that there are emergencies- a doctor should always take care of the most critical first. By no means… should a patient be “left on the table” in order for a doctor to see another stable patient. But, do NOT jeopardize my healthcare just because you are in a rush and/or dont want to be bothered.
