Dr. Frank Castillon III, MD

Frank saved my Back ! He was awesome and very good! 2 surgeries and my life changed. I strongly recommend him. I was not compensated to say this. I say it because he changed my life!

Beware of this Doctor. They charge a $50 no-show fee. After my first visit, they sent me to another doctor to work on my case. I was only supposed to work with the new doctor and any follow up or coordination was to be done through this new doctor. Dr. Castillon's office set up an appointment, didn't tell me about it, I had no record of it and received no phone calls about it. They sent me a bill for $50 no-show. When I called to ask for it to be waved, they swore up and down that they called and confirmed it with me. Neither me, my wife nor any of my kids have any knowledge or record of them ever calling. The only correspondence I've had has been with the new doctor in addition to spending a fortune to have my pain corrected. When I asked if they would work with me and wave it this time, the office manager gave me a flat out hard refusal(you'd think they were the only surgeon and had me over a barrel the way she talked to me). I hope my $50 was worth it, because they just lost a… customer and my respect. I refuse to work with any doctor who treats his patients this way. It's unethical, it's immoral and just a plain poor business practice. I'm glad I discovered this now. If I had allowed him to treat me, who knows what other ways they would have tried to rip me off in my vulnerable state. I'm taking my business elsewhere. Stay away from this guy - bad news

After turning in a chair and hurting my back, a trip to ER, General Physician, an MRI and a trip to Pain Management Dr I was referred to Frank Castillon. They were concise about diagnosis and after I wrapped my head around having surgery~~Dr. Castillon did just that. I ended up having more complex issues when he got to my problem~~however, it was taken care of. I have fully recovered and have resumed normal everyday activities. Being able to walk up and down stairs, get out of bed, and simply go to the toilet~~I do not take for granted anymore! Thanks, Dr. Castillon!! YOU ROCK and your STAFF!!

Worst doctor experience in my life.

* Fantastic bedside manner* Excellent ability to explain conditions/procedures in terms the patient can understand.* Pleasant support staff.My husband was only 32 years old and was a chronic pain patient for over 5 years. Dr. Castillion did a full evaluation and requested appropriate testing to ensure that surgery was a viable option and that the surgery was done on the area that was truly the root cause of the pain. We had many questions and concerns given how young my husband was at the time. He was very patient with us and explained everything, including the risks, clearly and in a way that we could understand.His nurses and office assistants were very polite and helpful. Both Dr. Castillon and his staff took and interest in you as an individual and not a number. He is a very good "listener" which allows him to respond to your specific concerns.He was recommended to us with high marks from another family member. We couldn't have asked for a better doctor. I have referred… friends to him who also had very positive experiences.We felt like he was someone we could trust to do right by us. He is someone you know will tell you that surgery isn't a good option if he feels you won't see any real benefit or are likely to be worse. But isn't that what you want when you're talking about the types of procedures he does.
