Dr. Frank Edgar Chang, MD

Dr.Chang has an amazing bedside manner. He is very informative. I had a great experience. I would highly recommend Dr.Chang. Everything went very smoothly. Office was very clean and it was very easy to make an appointment. I never waited long at all. The staff made me feel very comfortable. I always felt informed about next steps. I feel very comfortable in the care I received at Shady Grove Fertility Clinic.

I highly recommend Dr. Chang at SGF to make your dream of being a parent come true. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and determined to get you pregnant. My husband and I struggled for 5 years trying to conceive. Nothing worked and we started to give up when God blessed us with family member that conceived via IVF at SGF. The whole staff is so warm and welcoming that you feel as if you are family. They went above and beyond to get us pregnant. After one IVF cycle I GOT A BIG FAT POSITIVE. I am forever grateful for my beautiful baby girl thanks to Dr. Chang. I pray God continues to anoint him to help families like mines conceive. Thank you !!Thank you !!!

I went to see doctor Chang Because we wanted to have another child at 42 years old. I had my tubes removed after my last child because I thought i was done having children. Dr. Chang was very good in education on the process and our choices. We could only do IVF. I must say that we got pregnant with our first try. I am now 11 weeks pregnant & every thing is going great. Also his nurse Dew She is super duper amazing. She had everything outline for us. She always called with results and was very patience with us. She explains our medication process and time line. I want to thank Dr. Chang and his team for such a positive and excellent experience to what could be a frighting experience. -Kenya Spence.

Dr. Chang is an excellent doctor that is very professional and compassionate. He provided us the different options that could work for my case and pros & cons of the different scenarios ... never has he pushed his opinions or timing on us. Everything has always been our decision but he is always there to support in answering questions and next steps. We also love the care and our relationship with his nursing staff, especially Nikki who oversee's our medical protocol..

Dr. Chang is awesome! He answers all my concerns/questions very patiently and explained my medical condition in detail. He has a very positive vibe.

Dr. Chang was able to help me get pregnant and have a baby when i had been told by other clinics that this was not possible for me. I consider myself so lucky to have found him. He is an outstanding clinician and technically skilled as well. His bedside manner is gentle, kind and caring. I would recommend this physician to anyone! !

Shady Grove Fertility became a "second home" to my husband and I as we had many visits throughout our fertility journey. Our first few visits composed of us going getting diagnosed and various tests. Our final diagnosis was "unexplained infertility" and Dr. Chang gave us the option to keep trying on our own or if we wanted to to go ahead and start a treatment. We decided to keep on trying and eventually we went with IVF (based on consulting with the team and our insurance plan). The IVF process went as planned and we are not expecting our little miracle! The many visits with Shady Grove is what made us feel comfortable and at ease. I did not realize that once I found out I was pregnant--we would only have a few more visits (mainly sonograms). On my last sonogram I saw Dr. Chang and the team and that is when they told me my next few visits would be with my OBGYN and I got a little emotional! Overall, we highly recommend Shady Grove Fertility, Dr. Chang, the team, and our… nurse--Nikkie.

Dr. Chang is a great listener and wonderful, compassionate doctor. My husband and I felt completely confident in his ability to get us to the end goal, to get pregnant and have a healthy baby. We are well over half way to our goal pregnant with two miracle babies. He's given us our dream of having children. We had been through multiple fertility treatments at another clinic in our town, but after loss after loss we were broken. A friend told us about Shady Grove and Dr Chang, which gave us hope again. We decided to travel for treatment and it was the absolute best decision we have ever made. Dr. Chang and his team at Shady Grove in Rockville, MD are amazing!

Dr. Chang was wonderful! He explained everything thoroughly and was always available. My experience with his entire team was great and exactly what I hoped for! My husband and I are grateful for his dedication and are excited to be welcoming our first baby this winter!

I have bad experience with Dr. Chang. He is said the best in DC, but he is indeed not. He has bad judgment at unusual situations or limited knowledge in some areas. He is arrogant and does not want to listen to you, to work with you to get a good result. Totally disappointed with Dr. Chang's practice. Never recommend to anyone. Better to avoid this doctor to do your IVF.
