Dr. Frank David Clifford, MD

Dr. Clifford is an excellent doctor. He takes time with his patients, listens to their concerns and even considers their input on for example a test that patient feels needs done, or changing a certain medication from one currently being taken to a different one due to side effects or whatever. He only orders tests he sees fit, than will order additional ones if he feels the need to based on results of first test. He is the only doctor I will see at Family Medicine. When he retires (hopefully not anytime soon) I will leave Family Medicine, and find a new doctor elsewhere.

It seemed like a nice enough place, but they scheduled me out 2 months away when I was desperate to get referred from them to some specialists. When my alarm for the date and time was accidentally set for am instead of pm and I missed my appointment, they told me I was never allowed to reschedule with them because missing an appointment amounts to unforgivable sin. They are unhelpful, unapologetic, and stick to that policy even if you really need help.

I have always thought that Dr. Clifford is wonderful. I go to the Sugar Grove Office & he listens to me & we work together to get to the bottom of things and he always takes the time to treat the symptoms, not necessarily the numbers. Meaning, just because the numbers might say I'm w/in the "normal range", if I'm still having symptoms, he treats that. I wish all doctors were like Dr. Clifford.

A patient in time of need should not be pushed away just because they speak up with their concerns in medical care. All doctors in a group should pratice the same type of medince that means good patient care. A good doctor is one who is willing to say I made a mistake lets see what we can do to work this out and not be so quick not to work with the patient or patients family. Remember when patients are sick they are not always themselves that is why they are seeign a doctor for care. This office has some good doctors but some are not and because of this it affects the whole office and the good doctors and good patient care.
