Dr. Frank Nicholas Cole, MD

You have to leave a voice message to schedule an appointment. I can not make a appointment with my primary physician Dr Cole he’s always booked for months. P.S I am a black female age 56

Dr Cole is the best doctor that I have ever seen. At my first visit to him, he examined me and sent me to a cardiologist who diagnosed me with three heart blockages. My surgery was sucessful. I truly believe that without Dr Cole's examination, I would not be here today. He is truly a knowledgable and caring doctor. I highly recommend him to anyone seeking a great doctor.

Dr. Cole refused to consider my concerns and wishes for my choice in health care issues.

I can’t believe that Dr. Frank Cole still has a medical license. My family’s experience with him as a General Practitioner has been an absolute nightmare. He is one of the most arrogant doctors we have ever encountered and he exhibits . Here’s the list based our dealings with him following surgery for our parent with recovery extending for several months (totally unexpected): • Arrogant. Arrogant. Arrogant. Suffers from God complex. • He’s a grown up silver spoon kid who relies on his family’s name on the hospital wing • Does not like questions being asked as he feels challenged and threatened when it comes to diagnoses or no diagnosis. Yet at the same time, he won’t offer up any explanations or hypotheses for his actions or lack of actions • Uses “just trust me” phrase too often like a used car salesman • Is quick to bad mouth other doctors and specialists in the local area. (He’s threatened and probably knows he’s inept) • No bedside manner whatsoever •… Communicates solely via email versus picking up the phone to check up on a patient’s well-being • Bullies older patients • Actively lied telling my elderly that “there aren’t many doctors who accept Medicare, so you should feel lucky to have me as your doctor”. We’ve considered reporting him to Medicare and the Georgia State Medical Board • Prefers prescriptions versus natural treatments (e.g. for constipation, quickly prescribed laxatives and stool softeners versus resolving the issue the right way with better diet and nutrition) • Prescribes drugs without meeting patients in-person • Prescribed the wrong kind of drug which exacerbated my mother’s condition • Prescribes drugs without sharing any explanation for why he’s prescribing and what he hopes to accomplish • No experience with mental health yet making decisions he shouldn’t. Literally lied to my parents telling them that “Geriatric Psychiatrists don’t exist” even though Emory University has one of the top Geriatric Psychiatry departments in the country • Unable to detect depression and anxiety in my mother who has been a patient for years • Clueless when it comes to recognizing delirium, a common occurrence with elderly patients who suffer a trauma. Has no idea how to treat or resources to turn to for help • Dr. Cole is not connected to the Piedmont Hospital network so expects his patients to keep him posted on any hospital visits or (versus the system handling it automatically) • Tried scheduling a post surgery follow-up for my mother and was told it would be in two months after the hospital visit. (Yes, seriously) Dr. Frank Cole, that your medical partner left your practice and that your group is scrambling to keep patients is not the problem of any of your patients. Shame on your for all of your for trying to shame your patients to be more forgiving and understandable yet you consistently exhibit such unacceptable behavior.

Dr. Cole is always courteous, concerned, clean, cares, and gets to the bottom of why I came in.

Arrogant and has a god complex. Against anything that has to do with natural medicine.

It is impossible to get an appointment with Dr. Cole in less than three weeks. By then, I'm recovered or dead. He suffers from the "not invented here" syndrome, for if I presented any of my thoughts on the subject he got upset. His staff is officious and condescending.

they are all excellent

Dr. Cole has been great in resolving alot of medical issues with both of my parents. He has been able to reduce the amount of medication they both take. He and nurse physician Erin is great.

Very bright and caring. One of the best doctors around.
