Dr. Frank Saverio Coletta, MD

Poor follow through. Had an appointment and the Dr wanted the disk from the radiologist rather than the written report. I Drove it over to his office and have left 3 messages and it has been 12 days and the doctor has not followed up, nor given me a call back.

Dr Coletta was my Pulmonologist for at least ten years. Thought he was great, except for the fact that he would keep me waiting in the exam room for at least forty five minutes, for every appointment, that in in itself was a Red Flag. I would only need his service for routine issues and Sleep study, so no harm done. About six months ago I experienced shortness of breath. He had me take a chest Xray and a Sniff test which revealed a partially Paralyzed Diagram. When I reviewed the results on my Portal, I reached out to him numerous times, he refused to call me back. I made an appointment with him, and he basically told me I can live on one lung, and would speak to my Cardiologist, which he never did. I since changed Doctors, with good result, and am seeing a specialist, recommended by my new Pulmonologist. Do not trust Dr. Coletta, he proved disloyal to a long term patient, incompetent and dangerous.

Extremely disorganized. Has no concern for his patients.

The staff was extremely rude! No acknowledgement that the doctor was behind schedule. Had to wait longer than 1 hour before I was seen.

In my first visit I waited 1 and 1/2 hours and the to the dismay of his employees I re-scheduled. The next time I waited 45 minutes and the time after more than one hour. I was sent for a sleep studies to a place closely connected to their office. The first time all went well, the second time there was no one there! The third time his office re-scheduled with a few hours to spare. I made an appointment for a follow-up visit: 45 days wait... I asked if there was some else that could help in his office and I was told no. Then I negotiated for 5 weeks... today I got a phone call from his office "something came up the doctor can't see you for another 2 weeks" More than a year went by since I was referred to him. I was thinking this time around they would help me!

If there were 5 stars available, I'd rate him a 6. One of the best physicians I've ever had. I'm 66 and I've seen many.
