Dr. Frank Stewart Floca, MD

My father is in a nursing home and I've been unable to get good psychiatric care until doctor Floca came to see my father in the nursing home you can tell he really wants to spend time with my father and make sure that he provides the proper care and very much for States is this is making on the medications he has the sky my father

I have seen Dr. Floca for years for my depression and he was the only Dr. I found that could get it under control. My life has changed for the better since i have been under his care. He explained to me the side effects of my medication and directions on how to take the medication. I felt he genuinely cares for me as a patient. I would strongly recommend Dr. Floca . I plan on keeping him as my doctor for as long as possible as I have chronic depression and the only time I have felt relief has been with Dr. Floca's knowledge on my medication and medical conditions.

This doctor needs to lose his license. He over medicates and over charges his patients. My father was healthy but was diaonoised with early signs of Dementia and placed in a nursing home. In less than two months this doctor had prescribed 5 mind altering drugs, causing my father to become extremely weak, suffering from diarrhea and dehydration. After removing my father from this home and taking him to a new doctor, I was told these drugs were poisoning him. He was over charging us 200% for the drug we are now paying $8.00 for. Do your research on this doctor as it is true that he speaks around the country on behalf of pharmaceutical companies.

The doctor in my father's nursing home asked this doctor to see my dad. He has dementia. Tis doctor took weeks to see my dad and no one called me to tell me when he was coming so I could be there. When I called the office, the person on the other line did not know what was going on. And then I found out a nurse and not this doctor saw my dad. Then my dad was started on 3 different medicines at the same time. He started to complain of a stomach ache and he stopped eating and I called this doctor and no one ever called me back. But they were really fast at getting the bills out to me. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone at all. If your loved one needs to see this doctor, make sure you are there so that something doesn't get done that ends up taking weeks or months to fix, like my dad. My dad lost 8 pounds because of the medicine and then I had to argue about stopping the medicine. The nurse acted like I was neglecting my father because I didn't want the medicine; I wanted my dad… to eat! If you don't eat, what does the rest matter?

I would not recommend this doctor.Very defensive if questioned about medication or explanation of care plan.Over extended with patient loads including nursing homes.Speaks around the country on behalf of pharmamcutical companies,ie:Serequel.Travels a great deal.Will drop patient and leave them without care.Not professional.Old fashioned clinician.Not open to discussion of treatment.
