Dr. Frank Vk Gavini, MD

I have been a Patient of Doctor Frank Gavini for 9 years. During this time I’ve felt very Secure with His care as a Cardiologist. He is a very concerned doctor and listens to everything A Patient has to tell Him. The Care is Superior, Compassionate, and Thorough. This Doctor and His Staff makes every Patient feel Important.

My very first visit last month was not great, the back office medical assistant did not check my vital signs instead she took me in a room and said wait for the doctor to see you here. My second visit was not that great again, the assistant who did my heart ultrasound does not explain to me what she’s about to do and what is this procedure for and what to expect. After the U/S I asked her is there anything to follow-up after the U/S and she answer with no compassion as is a very cold person “I don’t know! Ask in front desk.” She had a very poor customer service face to face with the patient. My 3rd visit today, the front desk medical assistants were focusing to computer screen while talking to me, not even smiling. I asked her if I need to sign-in first she said “you told me your name already”, I reply to her “no you did not ask my name yet” then she reply “I know you from yesterday.” She looked overwhelmed in the first hour in the office. She also frequently coughing in front desk… but she not wearing a mask. They have poor customer service. They should have time to answer the patient’s concerns. I have learned from nursing school in the past that first encounter and talk to patient will display rapport and trust. The staffs need to be huddle an inservice by their supervisor and address how to improve costumers service or put them all in classroom training. Instead of getting better I’m having more chest pains and palpitations with these staffs. I decided to get a different cardiologist.
