I have never had a more understanding Dr in my life I am 65 years old I cannot say enough good things about him kind compassionate understanding and if there’s anything else that should be put on this list count it as there. 20 years ago my husband was not his patient he was in the hospital in Charleston South Carolina I made one phone call to him after months of being in the hospital I asked him to take my husband on as a patient we were able to fly home thanks to Dr. Guidry my husband still alive he would have died I can never thank him enough that is just one of the many wonderful things he has done for me in my life . He moved to Baton Rouge after many years and I have tried to find a general practitioner that I trust I have high standards LOL I will try to get an appointment tomorrow I moved to Bay St. Louis Mississippi he moved to Baton Rouge Louisiana it is worth the trip if he will consider still being my doctor . Looking forward to seeing him for many more years will write… another review after I see him God willing.

I have been a patient of Dr. Frank Guidry for over 20 years. I have always been satisfied with his service. However, once he went to Ochsner, the office staff went down hill. My insurance requires me to get referrals. It has never been an issue until he moved to Ochsner. I now have to request a referral over and over again and they still can't get it right. The level of incompetence with his staff is amazing. I waste way too much time following up with them, just to try to get them to do their job. Dr. Guidry has already lost a long time patient (my family member) because of this and he's about to lose another. It's a shame because I shouldn't have to "shop" for another doctor when I already have a 20+ year relationship with this one. Unfortunately my hand is forced.
