Dr. Frank Henry Jahns, MD

Dr. Jahns is, like his first name, a frank person, which I like in a doctor. His communication style is didactic but clear as a bell. He doesn't sugar coat things or let you off the hook if you've caused your own health issues (but he doesn't shame you either). I felt like I was in good hands when he performed an endoscopy on me.

Very poor communication skills. Doesn't listen. Disrespectful

Very rude! Would not recommend him to anyone.

It will take months to get an appointment, then follow up takes months if he doesn't cancel on you , then takes many more months for another appointment, by the time you get to see him agani it could be 6 months or more.

I had really good treatment from Dr. Jahns. I do highly recommend him. One of the best specialists to be found on the peninsula.

Unsatisfactory Doctor-Patient communication. Focused on one issue and did not consider alternative medical issues which ultimately became life-threating.

Not open minded enough for me...from the "old school". Focused on one issue only (UCC), when there are also other related issues. Had to make another appt. for that and wait another 3 months! Also, staff did not return my calls twice and I was quite ill at the time.
