Don't bother!! This office does not return your phone calls! I have been trying to schedule for almost two weeks. I filled out all the emailed questionnaires and was told I could now make an appointment. I have called daily and emailed and no one has returned my queries. What a joke!

I have a spine condition that requires surgery, but due to other health issues, it has to be postponed. In the meantime, I have been seeing Dr. King to help me deal with severe nerve pain in my back and legs. During my first appointment, Dr. King listened, asked relevant questions, and advised me of some possible treatments. He took a great deal of time with me and treated me as a whole person--not as an isolated disease or condition. He has modified treatments as needed to give me the best possible outcomes. I trust him implicitly and have recommended and will recommend him without reservation.

Dr. King is a rarity these days. He is empathetic, treats the whole patient, and is very knowledgeable about his field. It's possible to find other board-certified doctors specializing in the treatment of pain, but you will not receive the knowledgeable and caring treatment you'll get from Dr. King. Besides being a kind and skilled doctor, he is simply a treat human being!

I was referred to Dr King by another Dr., a spine specialist, for ongoing back and joint pain(chronic pain syndrome). Readers Digest version: I found Dr. King to be quite knowledgeable in his field of expertise. He took the time to examine any and all MRI’s and X-rays that I had sent over in advance. As well, he did a thorough verbal interview with me to include all of my symptoms, went over my other health issues, and did a thorough physical examination. He and I discussed options and goals, and initiated a plan of treatment going forward, which I feel will be helpful. As well, the doctor ordered additional X-rays, which impressed me with regards to his being very thorough. His office and staff were more than adequate, very polite, and my wait time was as good or better than most medical offices. I would recommend Dr. King to anyone having issues with ongoing pain. After months of increasing pain I finally dragged out of him that he had made a big change to his practice and was not informed. He was no longer going to treat me with the same meds he used prescribe because he now prefers IT pain pumps. I was forced to come up with other possible options on my own because a pain pump should only be used after all options have been exhausted. Sadly, I could not rely on his ability to treat me and in the end I could no longer trust him. I only wish I knew about this change months ago. Now I have nerve pain coming from 3 areas due to months of increasing pain and muscle tension. I am now trying to repair the damage caused by his poor decisions and inability to understand the situation and do whatâ??s best for the patient, not whatâ??s best for his practice (i.e pain pump!!!).

Without knowing/remembering my history he lambasted both me and my PCP for the results of an endocrinologic condition that I have had no control of for the past 2 1/2 years. Ironically, he shoved a piece of paper in my hands and told me to Google another condition he assumes I have. I think HE should Google my confirmed condition.
