Dr. Frank J Lang Jr, MD

For several years I have been blessed with Dr. Lang as my PCP. His extreme professionalism and “preventative medicine” approach has helped me avoid serious problems notwithstanding multiple “risk factors” which, without care, could have exploded into major emergencies: (1) age, I’m over 70; (2) Type II Diabetes; (3) Degenerative disk diseases; (4) Sleep Apnea; (5) Asthma. Dr. Lange’s approach is “forward looking” in that he seeks to discern potential problems in advance of any emergency and create a plan for reducing or eliminating risks, through: (a) periodic evaluations using standard blood, urine, and similar panels; (b) referrals, when needed, to KP “In House” specialists or outside contractors; (c) careful monitoring of both Rx and OTC remedies needed for ongoing care or for “emergencies” (e.g. asthma; lumbar flare ups); (d) constant attention to “booster injections” for diverse diseases; (e) advice as to new medications or treatment options. Discovering and treating… “potential” problems before they rise to the level of acute emergencies, Dr. Lang has both helped me maintain a high level of vigor and function despite my age and risk facts—and it has saved KP money by avoiding hospital or emergency room charges. In his practice, Dr. Lang is aided by a series of expert and cordial assistants, nurses, and other support personnel. I fear I cannot name them all to do them justice, but Amada, Marie, Patricia and others readily come to mind. Immediate attention to my inquiries and requests for advice or special refill needs is possible due to the professionalism, cordiality, and sincere concern of these staff members. Then too, the Mail Order Pharmacy Department does a good job of “keeping me supplied”. I also note that, during this “Covid19” era, Dr. Lange has embraced digital technology and conducted medical reviews by camera phone, while remaining available for “Face 2 Face” visits. I wish to pay tribute to this “team” of experts who have made my life more productive and happier due to their skill and attention. If anyone asks me, “What does KP mean by ‘thriving’, I will relate the care I receive from Dr. Lang’s team. Bless you all.

Dr. Lang has been my "go to" generalist for about three (3) years now. He has assisted me overcome a wide variety of diverse illnesses and problems--and he is quick to make referrals to appropriate, and trustworthy, specialists where needed. I unreservedly recommend him as a patient and skillful family practitioner. I have found his advice of supreme value.
