Dr. Frank Antolin Lopez, MD

My experience with Dr. Frank Lopez’s office has been extremely disappointing and concerning as the parent of a nonverbal autistic child. The biggest issue was not initially with the doctor himself, but with the administrative staff, specifically Theresa. I repeatedly experienced unprofessional behavior including calls being abruptly disconnected, difficulty obtaining basic communication, and submitted documents not being acknowledged or forwarded appropriately. On multiple occasions, I would explain my son’s information only to be asked repeatedly for the same details moments later. Even more concerning, calls from my number would go unanswered or disconnected, yet when I called from another phone, the office answered immediately. What is most shocking is that after a medical plan had already been established for my son, including MRI testing and bloodwork, I received a letter discontinuing services without any direct physician conversation regarding my child’s care. For a… vulnerable, nonverbal autistic patient requiring ongoing medical treatment, this felt both medically irresponsible and ethically troubling. Parents advocating for children with disabilities should not be punished for asking questions, following up on medical care, or expecting professional communication from office staff. Families deserve respect, transparency, and competent administration when dealing with important medical matters. I have maintained documentation of communications and interactions regarding this matter and will be filing formal complaints with the appropriate healthcare oversight agencies for further review. If you choose this office, my advice is to document everything carefully and advocate strongly for your child.

He is rude!!! Not patient at all , my son was 3 yo and was very hyper , he came out 3 times and told me basically to shut up because my son was too load , I couldn't believe it , he is a pediatrician that specializes in kids with autism, behavior problems etc... Then the nurse is the receptionist too and she was rude . Dr López was holding my son very hard and my son was very angry , he told me without any evaluation that he had autism and he was mentally retarded , I was crying my eyes out , no compassion at all, told me he would never talked and would ended up in a mental institution . Ive never went back .My son is 6yo now doing great , he has autism but he is talking and doing great at school, no learning disabilities , I would not recommend him at all.

Inaccurate diagnosis and spend next to zero time with patient.

If you are a medicaid patient he is great for you because you are not paying. Avoid his recommendations for tests. waste of money and will not help you. Basically vodoo science with him. Only dr I know that will will charge you 700 dollars and provide no diagnosis. Madoff would have been proud.

Dr. Lopez was very accurate with his diagnosis for my daughter she suffered from anxiety and thatnks to him she has been a lot less anxious i would recommend him

I took my step-daughter for a check up one morning and IT TOOK FOEVER!!! The office is tiny and crowded, there are no toys for the kids, not even a TV to keep them entertained. The staff was so unprofessional, they were loud and obnoxious. Dr. Lopez seemed nice but a little too hyper for my liking. The examination rooms look dirty and very old fashion. If it were up to me I would switch her Drs immediately.

No respect for anyone who isn't a doctor (he actually insulted the profession of teaching). Acts like he know everything, but won't provide a diagnosis, and he just keeps ordering tests we've already done. Strange sense of humor and he is condescending.

Dr. Frank Lopez and staff are very dedicated and handle my autistic son beautifully. I have so much faith in his practice. I high recommend Dr. Lopez.
