Dr. Frank Douglas Massey, MD

Dr. Frank Massey made a decision about my care that directly caused one of the worst experiences of my life. To justify his decision, he wrote a false statement in my chart. The worst part was that he told me he was on my side and that I had multiple options. When I cried and begged him not to institutionalize me, he showed no remorse and admitted that he was not going to allow me access to any other option. Multiple other doctors confirmed that I did not meet the criteria for involuntary hospitalization, but he signed the paperwork to commit me anyway.

An arrogant man with a limited understanding of mood disorders. He was unable to distinguish between bipolar 1 and bipolar 2 disorders. Should have stayed in family medicine.

Doctor Massey was very caring and helpful with getting my medication right. I recommend him for his expertise and knowledge but also his caring advice.
