Frank J. Maye, D.M.D.
Dr. Maye is a native Floridian. Born in Hollywood, FL and raised predominantly in Coral Springs. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in 1998, and then his dental degree in 2001 (also from the University of Florida). Continuing to be a Gator, Dr. Maye then completed his two year Pediatric Dental Residency (one of the best residencies in the country).
After a brief stay in Bradenton, FL, Dr. Maye and his wife, Rachel, moved to Boca Raton, FL in December 2003. Since then the practice has doubled in size. Then in September 2006, he opened the brand new state of the art facility that you see today, located in The Shoppes of Boca Greens.
Dr. Maye’s emphasis is on the long term preventative care of his patients’ oral health, with special emphasis on the psychology of children. Therefore it is the goal of the practice to never cause a traumatic dental experience (an experience at a young age that can place so much dental anxiety, that …even in adulthood, the patient postpones dental treatment until it is an emergency). In order to assure this, Dr. Maye offers a range of options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), conscious sedation, and even hospital dentistry at West Boca Medical Center.
In order to stay current on dental topics, Dr. Maye is a member of the following dental societies: Florida Dental Association, American Dental Association, South Palm Beach County Dental Association (ACCDA), the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
