Dr. Frank Augustus Mcgrew III, MD

Dr. McGrew was very thorough and detailed. He was eager to answer all of my questions and was not rushed in his visit.

Im am a 62 year old male. I first met Dr McGrew at Baptist East Germantown on a very cold Feburary mourning in 1997 after a helicopter ride from Paris TN. I was in severe Heart Failure. Had died in my office. My Father in Law was a retired Doctor MD PHD. And a friend of Dr Stern and Dr McGrew so that was my blessings. My opinion of Dr McGrew is that he is a very special Doctor very careing highly intelligent and will never give up on anyone. A Great Choice Teddy Cliburn

Have been in exam room two hours and have yet to see the doctor. Staff are leaving to go home for the day.

The center has 3 different waiting areas, 2 of which are hidden behind card-accessed doors. You may wair for up to an hour in each waiting area. You are then taken to a station where the check your blood pressure, review your meds and then to a exam room. Usually they do an EKG. After a long wait there, the Dr comes in, ask how you are feeling then leaves. Average face time, in my experience, is about 3-5 minutes after a 2-3 hour wait. If you call to ask a question, you will get the voicemail of his asst (this is normal anywhere), but you will probably never get a return call. If you are VERY persistant, the asst may call and tell you she will get the info from the Dr and get right back to you. The last case, she promised to text me within the next 2 hours. Three weeks later and still nothing. I have not gotten a response to any of my last 3 questions. Although I have had blood work done several time in the past 2 years, I have NEVER received any inofrmation about the results. I have… not even been told what my cholesterol level is in nearly 2 years. I am very disatisfied and am curently seeking another cardiologist that is in my insurance plan.
