Dr. Frank J Mogavero JR.

Before I share the AWEFUL experience we just had with Frank Mogavero DDS I would like to say that despite this truly horrible experience the office staff is wonderful. With that being said DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS TO THIS ORTHODONTIST. He has very poor manners, extremely rude, and not friendly. Originally he was so so, and honestly we tried at the beginning to switch to a different orthodontist but was told by the office he was the only one. My daughter never really felt comfortable with him and he was always very rough while handling her teeth. Today we came in for our regular ortho. apt. and it ended VERY badly. My daughter had lost some teeth and her lower Invisalign and was not able to wear it because the buttons that hold it in place where gone with the teeth that she recently lost. He said he couldn't give us the next set until he saw the bottom Invisalign so we went back home then came back. When we returned that is when everything went VERY wrong. He proceeded to talk… over constantly when all I was doing was asking a question. He was EXTREMELY condescending and very short with me. My daughter was sitting in the seat and looked at me like, "whats going on mom." When I looked at her she then said, "You can roll your eyes all you want, but..." I then said, "I didn't roll my eyes (Because I'm not 12 and that's how he talks to people) my daughter was looking at me and all I did was look back at her. I then realized that it was time for us to leave. I said, "Ok, I think we are done and got up without saying anything else and proceeded to leave." He then started to yell at my daughter and I as we were walking out (we weren't even saying anything to him) saying, "You're not welcome here, and I will not give you a refund." I asked him many times to please stop talking to me, and he just kept following us to the front of the office repeating himself saying we needed to leave to my daughter and I. I finally had to to get stern with him and ask him to leave us alone, and it took one of the receptionist to stand up and have him leave the front. I have NEVER EVER experienced something like this before and NEVER have I EVER seen a grown man, a professional no less act so immature and rude. Please don't take your kids here, there are WAY better orthodontist here in Ladera that will not be rude to your children, kick you out of his office, and basically bully you. Oh, and he stated he will not give me my money back which was 6,000 for my daughter's .
