Dr. Frank Stanton Powell, MD

Dr. Powell helped my wife with collapsed lung several years ago...he struck me as a very kind and caring man. He never seemed rushed as many doctors do, and seemed genuinely concerned with my wife's comfort and recovery. I can't say enough good things about this terrific doctor.

Dr. Powell diagnosed my dad with inoperable lung cancer. While that's never the kind of news you want to receive, he was extremely patient, kind and compassionate. He took time to explain everything to my dad, as well as my family. You could tell he was truly concerned about my dad and wanted to give him the best quality of life possible.

I had several problems with the staff at doctor Powell's. They were suppose to call in a prescription to pick up on the way home. We live 40 minutes from the office. We had lunch and when we stopped for it, it was still not called or faxed in. We have waited over an hour for our appointments. Today, our appointment was at 230. At 310 a nurse came out to say he was going to be 30 minutes late. After 40 minutes they came to say that he will be another 30-40 minutes. This is not professional and although I like Dr. Powell as a doctor, I do not like the way the patients are treated by the personal.
