Dr. Frank Corson Riggall, MD

I went to this facility at the recommendation of my OB and was and still am very sorry that I ever did. I had an IUD removal and it was found to not be intact. My OB did a hysteroscopy in office and could not locate the missing arm of the IUD and had me get a trans-vaginal ultrasound. The ultrasound indicated the fragment was deeply embedded in the lower right wall of my uterus. My OB said that due to the location of the fragment and my age that it was her opinion I really wouldn't need to have it surgically removed but that she wanted me to get a second opinion from a fertility expert just to be certain. After a few calls and mix ups about the referral at CRM, I finally get the appointment scheduled and they tell me two days before my appointment (on the last day to cancel) that my referral is no good and that I will have to reschedule. So now I have to wait another month. I call before my meeting to ensure they have received my file, so the doctor can review them before my… appointment and I am assured they have everything from my OB. I get to my appointment and Dr. Riggall asks me for my paper work and indicates it is not in his file and he has not reviewed it (and appears peeved). I tell him about my appointments and experience with my OB and he says that he does not need to review the ultrasound results that I already paid for and received from a professional imaging center because he will do his own ultrasound. Before even doing the exam, he tells me that the fragment is detrimental to getting pregnant and may cause a miscarriage and surgery would be needed. (disregarding the opinion of my OB all together). He proceeds to do the exam and has trouble locating the fragment. He sees a white blurb on the screen an insists that it is the fragment. I tell him that the ultra sound I got took a long time (20 mins) but once they found the fragment it clearly looked like a piece of small plastic and not like the blurb he is seeing. He stops looking for it after one to three minutes and insists that I am wrong, and he is correct and that the fragment moved to the upper center of my uterus (despite me telling him it was deeply embedded). At this point I am older and concerned about getting pregnant and have been dealing with this for several months and am eager to have it resolved. Dr. Riggall suggests that I have another hysteroscopy under anesthesia, so he can go in and surgically remove the piece. I tell him I am concerned that he did not find the fragment and he insist again that he did find it and that once I am under anesthesia he would have all the equipment necessary to remove the fragment regardless of its location. Still hesitant about the procedure I call the nurse to ask a few questions and to see if the Dr. was ever able to obtain and review my original ultrasound and that I was concerned about him being able to surgically remove the fragment if it was not located. She then tells me I am not having a surgical procedure and only a scope. I state that I would not be getting anesthesia for a scope and need to talk to Dr. He calls and assures me he will be surgically removing the missing fragment. As such, I agreed (against my better judgement) to the procedure only to be told that my uterus was "clean as a whistle" and the blurb he saw had mysteriously disappeared and was not the fragment. He then proceeds to tell me that "it may have fallen out during my menstrual cycle or migrated to another organ and that I should get an x-ray". All things that maybe should have been discussed or considered BEFORE having me go under anesthesia for basically a scope procedure that I already had in office with my OB. He basically gambled on my uterus with house money based on a hunch despite me trying to tell him he was wrong -Dr. is always right? I went and had the x-ray and low and behold the fragment was still sitting tight right where it was in the lower right side of my uterus. It was then recommended that I get a CT scan but in the mean time I actually got PREGNANT - so the fragment was not detrimental to my fertility as indicated before ever looking at my ultrasound. The problem does not end with Dr. Riggall. After the procedure I spoke with the head nurse to express my frustration with the experience and she indicated I definitely had a valid grievance and that the manager of the facility would contact me the next day. I was never contacted. I have since tried to contact the administrator who is apparently on leave with no one covering her position. Despite leaving multiple message I have never received a return call. I was then sent a bill that did not reflect all my payments and indicates I still owe a substantial balance even though my insurance records indicate I should only owe a nominal amount. I have called several times regarding my bill and have never once gotten a person on the phone or received a returned call or revised bill.

After years of struggling with infertility, we meet Dr Riggall , he help us through our last treatment . Not just Dr Riggall but everybody in the Clinic was so polite and helpful. Well be always grateful to Dr Frank Riggal who help us to make our dream come true.Our identical twin girls just turn 7 years old.

Dr. Riggall was professional and thorough. He's an excellent surgeon and highly skilled at robotic surgery. He sincerely wanted to help me and gave me several surgical options. I will definitely recommend him to friends.

I went to Dr. Riggall for one visit as I was looking for an OBGYN to treat my endometriosis. They did a lot of labwork, said I was anemic and prescribed me iron pills. I just had my period! And I was slightly anemic, enough that my family doctor took me off the iron pills. Then they wanted me to come back for labs for genetic testing and more, which I AM NOT TRYING TO GET PREGNANT!!! When I later decided to go to a new OBGYN, they told me I had to pay for records. By FL, doc to doc records are no charge. They state that unless they refer you to the doctor they won't send the office records, they will only send them to the patient and you have to pay. They are a ton of crooks!!! Stay away!!

This Doctor along with most of his staff have an attitude probelm and dont have an issue treating patients with rudeness and disrespect. He is the least caring doctor I have ever seen and has a horrible bedside manner. I was also misdiagnosed by his clinic. He truly made my unplesant situation much worse, the only good thing is it forced me to go else where and now I am in the best care possible with a doctor, staff and lab that are top in the country. So thank you Dr. Riggall for that! See, there are positives in everything if you look :)

I rarely write reviews but Dr. Riggall's bedside manner was so kind and caring that I had to share my experience. I've seen many doctors over the past 5 years to try and seek a diagnosis for unexplained pelvic pain, and have been brushed off countless times, treated coldly and with disregard (like a mere number not a human being). Doctor Riggall took the time to really find out my history. He is an excellent listener and treated me with complete empathy. Both my co-worker and gynecologist recommended him because he's an excellent surgeon. In addition to the pain issue, I also wanted to see if it was still possible to still have children with all of the medical issues I've experienced. He performed diagnostic laproscopy; he assured me that if I thought of any questions, he would be there to speak with me before the surgery, and on my post op he did an excellent job of explaining and showing me images of what he saw. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends or family.

This man should not be a doctor. He is insensitive, makes you feel like youre just another body on the conveyer belt and is totally condescending. Our cycle was cancelled because his staff failed to providenus with the proper information. We found a new doctor and its like night and day to compare the two. Dr. Riggall is behind the times and has a terrible bed side manner.

Dr. Riggall has been my physician for over 15 years and can honestly say he has made a BIG difference in my life! He has handled (Tackled - more like) issues over the years and made it possible for us to have our twin boys. I tell everyone I know about him and will continue to do so. He absolutely FANTASTIC and could never say enough about him here. Thank you Dr. Riggall!

Educated, professional, and patient physician with good manners and excellent surgery/ procedures skills and diagnostic skills. Office staff is friendly most of the times.
