Dr Frank Spano, MD

Total fraud. Vitamin scams all day long. Test after pointless test. All his con to make you think he’s doing so much for you but he’s just picking your pocket and tossing out your hard earned money. Now he is of course MIA. Not surprising getting on the phone as patient was a joke, “come in and see me” aka give me more money for nothing but to point me in the direction of specialist I’d already planned to see. As one of my new doctors said “Well he used to play dress up in his biker costume, now I guess he’s playing gangster”

Thousands upon thousands of dollars worth of vitamins that ultimately do absolutely next to nothing is always Dr. Spano’s first move. Then thousands upon thousands of dollars testing and visits to specialist that result in absolutely nothing. It’s as if he’s saying “ look how hard I’m working for you! Look at this work I’m doing for you!” It’s all nonsense and lies. He put me on medication I proved to him I didn’t need at all. Of course why would he bother to listen to another doctor? I ended up falling due to the medication breaking my arm and sustained a concussion which long story short turned in Vertigo . I called Doctor Spano to let him know what happened, his response? “Ok well don’t take it anymore”. CLICK. He hung up the phone. To detail all Dr. Spano has put me through would take far too long. Instead I’ll give you this: He made so, so many mistakes. Including making me wait almost three weeks for my test results to see whether I had a brain tumor or not. Where was he? I… have no idea. I called his office for probably 10 days in a row and all I got was “Dr. Spano isn’t here”. I guess he just went on vacation or something. The final insult, however, was by far the worst. His office called me to let me know my appointment was to be cancelled due to a snow storm. My appointment was over three weeks away. So I asked “ Really? My appointment is three weeks away...and we’re canceling due to a predicted snow storm!?!?!” Not only that she tired to get off that phone because Dr. Spano had cancelled my appointment. Didn’t want to reschedule and deal with another one of his mistakes. So I told the women I would reschedule with him, she told me I’d have to wait four months to see Dr. Spano next. I told her this is a physical and I’m very sick I need to have it done. Dr. Spano is liar, a fraud and if I’d taken the time to explain all he’s done to me and friends of mine it world burn off both your eyes and ears.

I've been a patient of Dr. Spano during the past 18 years. Fantastic doctor, focusing on long term prevention. Very knowledgeable and up-to-date progress of medicine. Highly recommended! However, Fairfield County Medical Group answering service needs help!!!

I have been going to Dr. Spano for sometime now, he is the only doctor that really listens to his patients. He is one in a million.

Very detailed knowledge of patient and patients medical history. Takes the time to discuss and understand why the patient has come to see him and his diagnosis' are generally right on target.

Misdiagnosed me twice; too arrogant and just stupid to admit it...so instead he tried to avoid me. He's an arrogant joke.

Dr. Spano has really lost it, he must be out of his mind. Unreal. He does not like to be questioned and when proven wrong he pouts like a 5 year old and lies and lies. Come on, Frank Spano. Cranky and cruel to his staff, I saw him scream at them last time I was there.

I have been a patient of Dr. Spano’s for about 3 years. I find him very thorough and he has a terrific bedside manner. He is direct and answers all my questions. I really appreciate the fact that he tried a nonprescription method of lowering my blood sugar rather simply prescribing another pill. Dr. Spano also diagnosed arthritis in my neck and recommended a physical therapist that has greatly improved my situation.

I find Dr SPANO to be a thorough, caring, and bright doctor with a touch of Homeopathic insight that makes for a well rounded philosophy of treatment for all schools of thought. His office is the most efficient and organized office I have ever experienced (and I’ve been in way too many to count). You would be very fortunate to become a patient of his if given the chance.
