Dr. Frank Quei-Chuan Tang, MD

Dr tang has been my kids doctor for a long time. I took my son in for possible appendicitis. He sent us to the ER and recommended a CT scan. The ER dr said he was almost 100% sure he didn’t have it and didn’t recommend a CT scan. I called Dr tang and he said he wanted one. The ER dr did one and my son does has appendicitis. Thank you so much! Don’t know what would have happened if I left without taking his advise.

He treats employees as low as dirt! Would u trust your child here? Don't be fooled.

I don't usually write reviews, but when I thought I was going to need a new doctor I read a bunch of them. Luckily Dr Tang is covered by my new insurance. That was what I was most worried about, I absolutely have complete faith that Dr Tangs office will help me make the best decisions when it comes to my overall health. Dr Tang, his PA (who I've only seen once but who was very compassionate to my health needs), and his entire staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy with the care you are receiving. I think it's important to know when choosing a doctor that the staff is just as much a part of that choice as the doctor and while the team in this office is buzy, they give you their full attention and make sure your needs are met. My husband is always needing paperwork and extras from the office and they go out of their way to accommodate him. I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 mins in the waiting room, and usually it's closer to 5, once in the patient rooms it's… usually very quick, but probably twice out of the many many appointments we've had it took longer, but that was only because another patient needed that time and the staff was quick to let me know I may be waiting longer that normal. Dr. Tang listens and spends the time needed to make sure you are getting everything you need to have the best care possible. He truly cares about his patients, but he also tells it like it is. He is going to take your feelings on your medical care and condition into consideration and won't try to push a treatment or specialist on you that your not comfortable with, but he will make sure you understand all your options which when it comes to your health or your children's health is extremely important. If you are looking for a new doctor I strongly suggest you make an appointment to meet Dr Tang and his team.

If you are looking for a new doctor, I would recommend that you keep looking. I have been a patient of Dr. Tang's and I am currently switching doctors. The ladies at the front are rude. The wait times are often long. He will charge you an office visit for TB results read and to recheck your blood pressure when most doctors do that for free without an appointment. If you have questions that you think of later and want to ask it is almost impossible to get a call back.

This guy is the worst Dr you can find in the Southern California. He only concerns how to make money from you, never concern your needs. Don't be fooled by his "this is good for you", let you do all unnecessary lab tests and medicines. Avoid this guy and thank me later.

Bad doctor bad staff and he over charges $150.00 to look at his back for three minutes and shame on me I did this twice

Dr. Tang has been my family doctor for more than 23 years! I have referred many friends to see him. I always received positive feedback from them! His diagnosis & treatment are both excellent. Here is couple of my experiences:20+ years ago, when my son was at preschool. One day, he was sick & Dr. Tang told me that I could hold the Rx till the next day because he should be all right by next day. Yes! He was all right the next day. Another day, when I took him to get vaccine shot at Dr Tang's clinic. Dr. Tang gave me a prescription, in stand of the vaccine shot & told me that my son was sick and I should give him a dosage before I leave the building. Yes! He started having fever on the way home. This March, when I found my body was swollen & retaining water, I drove one hour to see Dr. Tang. He changed my high blood medicine which was prescribed by another doctor. My symptom was gone within a week! He is a loving, caring doctor that I wish we are not that far away.

Expect to wait at LEAST one-hour in the "waiting room," sometimes he doesn't appear for 2 or 3 hours, all the while you're sitting ...

Dr. Tang is the only doctor my husband will see. He's been our family physician for over 10 years. If we need a same day appointment, they get us in with him or his certified Physician's assistant. He's an excellent doctor, very caring.
