Dr. Frank Yung-Chin Tsai, MD

I was referred to Dr. Tsai by our internist, because my platelet count was too low to permit spinal surgery necessary to relieve severe pain. In order to minimize the risk of bleeding, my count needed to be raised normal levels. Although it was important to determine the cause of my low platelet count, the priority was to get me to the starting line so that I could have the surgery. Dr. Tsai did all of the right things from a medical point of view, but what impressed me the most in this age pre-recorded messages and impersonal medicine, was that I had good access to Dr. Tsai in real time, both directly and through his PA. They were pro-active in communicating with the surgeon (a doctor outside of the Honor Health network) and with me to make sure that the surgery could take place on schedule. It was obvious that they cared, and were committed to helping me reach my goal in a very professional and medically sound way. Access and commitment were the key - I cannot thank them… enough.

He is a great doctor. My impression was that he is a very knowledgeable and caring doctor and person. I would recommend him to everyone that I meet that as a problem with their health as I has.

Dr. Tsai is a kind and caring doctor. He always listens to any concerns or questions I have and makes sure that he has answered my question to my satisfaction.

My Dr. Madonna Malleri referred me to Dr. Tsai because I was severely anemic and other blood studies needed to be treated. I being an R.N., did a lot of research before the visit. Dr. Tsai had obviously read my chart and treated me with knowledge and care. He or his staff followed up with my insurance company and within a month I am now almost normal with my anemia and blood studies. I feel confident in his treatment and caring attitude. I highly recommend him to treat me in the future and my family if they need his medical expertise.

Thank goodness for Dr. Tsai. My father was diagnosed with cancer last year & we were at a loss for words and confused on our next movements/action. The surgeon who operated on my dad recommended Dr. Tsai and immediately got us an appointment with him. He broke everything down; from what was going on, to types of treatments, as well as what to possibly expect. He was honest and empathetic throughout the process, helped give us a sense of ease in a sad situation. Highly recommend this doctor for anyone struggling on who or where to go.

After 3 years of chemo for my bladder cancer-it stopped working...I had to look for other alternatives...Entering into a Clinical Trial, Dr. Tsai was my my new oncologist, hematologist...the trial was a success...thank God...not only that he gave me hope from day 1 of the trial...he has a sense of humor and warm demeanor that coincides with his expertise...He's the best!...
