Dr. Frank R Wheeler, MD

This is the worst doctor I've ever encountered. He tried telling me my diagnosis I've had for 10+ years was false, yet refused to do any testing to confirm or even test any other diagnosis. I finally had access to the paper work proving my diagnosis was substantiated, and he never mentioned the problem or solutions for the diagnosis again even after asking. We talked for about 5 minutes a day and got absolutely no where in my recovery in the week I was under his care. He pumped me full of whatever drug he thought was good for the day and sent me on my way. One day he even threatened me with a stay in the state hospital if I didn't give him information that wasn't relevant to my treatment. I give you all this information as a warning. This doctor is seriously bad news.

I find Dr. Wheeler very professional and great at treating mental health. I suspect bad reviews are from individuals who didn't get the medicines or outcome they wanted. He and his staff have always treated me with respect and kindness. Thankful that Lander has a great psychiatrist.

Dr. Wheeler is excellect at what he does.... He is the best psychiatrist i have ever seen.

Very bad person! He made fun of my sons disabilities and called him a lier about his disabilities. He upset my son with his rudeness. He was rude to me as well. Which my son did not like at all. I do not recommend him to anyone, especially kids!!!!!! Very bad place!! ??

I can't imagine a worse psychiatrist than Frank Wheeler. His aloof demeanor and questionable diagnostic skills leave patients with many questions. Where was his copy of the DSM-V when he was diagnosing me, what techniques was he even using, it seemed as though he was just trying to get me in and out and pumped full of strong medications, rather than try to find an actual solution to the problem. People of Fremont County, do yourselves a favor and drive to Casper where you might actually be helped.
