Dr. Frank Joseph Yono

I have written five reviews none of which I can find after submitting them! This is going to be my final attempt before I come to the conclusion that they are being deleted because Dr. Yono would be inundated with far too many patients when they discover his geographic proximity and competence. I might add, that I had gone to my prior physician for three decades and felt it was time for a change. I found Dr. Yono with the help of dear Dr. Matthew Rontal who kindly provided his name upon my request. I could not have been more pleased. The office staff of Tracy and Diamond welcomed me warmly and Dr. Yono was both professional and personable. The first visit was a “meet and greet” during which time I came to the conclusion that Dr. Yono was my new physician and this was after three attempts at finding the right “fit” none of which met with my satisfaction. Dr. Yono was everything that I had hoped for, but had not expected. Dr. Yono was patient, kind, tolerant of my chatting… too much and, above all, a competent physician and someone in whom I confidently place my health care needs. Great experience this visit and all past visits. Dr. Yono never rushes in and out, he takes his time to ensure your needs are met, questions are answered and tests are up to date.

Dr. Yono was extremely patient and thorough at my last appointment. He answered all my questions and made sure I was up to date on all my tests. Recently I needed to contact him after hours and he answered immediately and was able to assist me and ease my concern. I would refer him to my family and friends without question!

As a nurse, I've had the pleasure of taking care of some of his patients in a hospital setting. When my wife was in need for a new physician, Dr. Yono was the first person that I thought because of his professionalism and great bedside manner. When we saw him at his office, he was behind because his MA quit. It wasn't a bad experience because he was kind and nice, the reason why I thought he would be good to see. He wanted my wife to get some labs done and then he would call us to discuss the results. After the labs were done, my wife tried to follow up a few days later. The receptionist took a message to notify Yono to call my wife. He did not call her back that day. I took the liberty to call him the following day. I was able to get a hold of him and he told me that he was at the hospital and not in the office to receive the message. I am ok with that because I understand how it can difficult to be at the office and hospital. He then told me he would call my wife… either today or the following day. Granted, I could've discussed my wife's labs with him directly, but I felt that my wife had the right to talk to the physician about the labs that he ordered and that he wanted to review and discuss. Unfortunately, that did not happen. Now, we are at a week without hearing back from him. I am very disappointed with Dr. Yono as I feel embarassed that I recommended him to my wife. If I knew this is how he treats his patients, I would've not recommended him. I will not look at him the same way in the hospital as I take care some of his patients. It makes me wonder why his MA all of sudden quit on him. Very unhappy!

Dr. Yono has been my Doctor for years. I am and always greatful for him and his staff.

Great bed side manners. Always willing to hear all my concerns and questions. Would highly recommend.
