Dr. Franklin Gale Bivins JR., MD

I found Dr Bivens after Cowherd dropped my family and I without giving any reason. Still wonder about that. He and his staff are just the best. I trusted him so much I took both my children to him. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. It's easy to get an appointment and the wait time is short. Give him and his staff a chance & you won't be sorry.

Dr. Bivins is easy to talk to and genuinely interested in me. I know he volunteers a lot. Including the local High School and the elderly center. He's an old fashioned home town doctor.

On a personal note, he is a nice guy. He has a history of giving wrong diagnosis. He does the physicals for the school and many times kids are held out of sports for weeks sometimes till they can get checked by a specialist and most times the specialist can't find any reason for Bivins suspicion of a problem. I work at the school and know most of the kids personally and also know many adults that have encountered the same issue themselves. I've seen too many students and parents upset and needlessly worry over these incorrect diagnosis.
