Love this Dr. He's Awesome

This is the very first surgery I've ever had in my life. I was very nervous and wanted a good surgeon. Meeting Dr. Franklin Martin was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very nice and very helpful. They were able to get me in for surgery right away. After the surgery I had to stay in the hospital for 4 days and he was checking on me thereafter the surgery. I would totally recommend anyone to see him for any surgery. My issue was my gall bladder, and very happy I chose him.

Umbilical Hernia -- I didn't even make it to my first appointment. I called for some basic code information to see if covered by insurance and I got the runaround. I was simply trying to understand my total cost of moving forward and the staff wanted me to come in for a consultation. Hmm, seems like an approach to, at minimum, get the consultation money and then let the patient decide. I prefer to know all my estimated costs before I walk in the door.

DR MARTIN WAS A REFERRAL FROM MY PRIMARY DOCTOR. I WAS OF COURSE NERVOUS ABOUT THE SURGERY THAT I WAS GOING TO HAVE. I MADE MY APPOINTMENT, NO PROBLEM. I WAS GREETED FROM THE LADIES AT THE FRONT COUNTER AND WAITED APPROX 5 MINUTES BEFORE SEEING THE DOCTOR. DOCTOR MARTIN IS A VERY MATTER OF FACT PERSONALITY BUT GIVES A LOT OF IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND KNOWS HIS JOB. I HAD MY SURGERY AT POMERADO HOSPITAL AND I CAN SAY FROM THE TIME I ARRIVED EVERYONE WAS AMAZING. EVERY STEP OF THE WAY THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING THEY WHERE GOING TO DO AND MADE ME FEEL VERY COMFORTABLE. I WENT TO MY FOLLOWUP APPOINTMENT AND DOCTOR MARTIN WAS VERY HELPFUL AND CARING ABOUT AN PROBLEM I WAS HAVING, HE EVEN CONTACTED MY PRIMARY DOCTOR SO THAT SHE WOULD BE UP TO DATE ON WHAT WAS GOING ON. DOCTOR MARTINS OFFICE EVEN FILLED OUT AND SENT IN MY DISABILITY PAPERWORK FOR ME. THAT WAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD RECOMMEND DR MARTIN. :)

I was operated on by Dr. Martin 3 weeks ago and he supposedly removed a lump and sent it out for a cancerous diagnose...after the surgery he was suppose to call my husband, explain what happened during the surgery and tell him to come and get me. He never contacted my husband, I had to have the nurse contact him. It is now 3 weeks later and I have not even heard from this guy!
