Dr. Franklin Arthur Rumore, MD

I saw Dr Rumore as a child in the '70's. I remember many of the sessions and attribute my ability to process my feelings at an early age to them. Now, as an adult, I am comfortable to seek counseling and feel that I have made sound life choices resulting in being emotionally available to contribute in a positive way to society

always able to accomodate my busy schedule.

His guidance helped my child move from an unpromising student in 3rd grade to a successful honors student at a prestigious university (Jr.) could not ask for a better outcome.

I have seen many psychiatrists over the years for my depression and anxiety. Dr. Rumore is one of the worst I have ever seen. He doesn't care about the patient at all, just wants to write a prescription and collect his money. At my last visit, he refused to talk to a family member that was with me (wouldn't even allow them in the room with my permission!) He yelled and screamed at me, and told me that he NEVER puts any patients on disability. How is it possible that NONE of his patients ever need to be put on disability? He refused to listen to my family history of psychiatric disorders and refused to even treat me unless I "shut up" and just let him prescribe a medication. He stacks his patients 15 minutes apart and doesn't allow time to listen to recent problems and concerns. He accused me of "having an agenda". My only "agenda" is to get help and get better. This doctor only made me worse. Do not see this doctor if you care about your health and well-being.

Dr. Quackmore is the worst doctor I have ever been to. The last time he YELLED at me was the last time I spoke with him. Check his Yelp and other review sites. He has a TERRIBLE rating.

Dr. Frank Rumore is the worst doctor I have EVER been to and I will NEVER go to him again. Recently he prescribed a medication that required pre-approval from my insurance company. After my leaving messages for him for two weeks and after several notifications from the pharmacy, he finally called me. When I told him that the problem with the insurance coverage was with the dosage, he YELLED at me to â??just take whatever they would give me.â?? I explained to him that since HE was the prescribing doctor, he had to order the medicine. I further explained that other doctors have had to deal with pre-authorizing medications for me and it was never a problem before. He then YELLED at me me that he wouldn't fill the paperwork out because it --- "wasn't worth his time"---. He repeated this several times. He then YELLED at me that if I wanted to come sit with him while he filled them out I could [because then, of course, he could charge an office visit]. It appears that Dr. Rumore will only… do things that result in him getting paid, regardless of the welfare of his patient. I told him thanks for letting me know I wasnâ??t worth it. End of conversation.

Iâ??m 60 years old, have seen numerous doctors over these many years, including psychiatrists. In my opinion, I can say without a doubt that Dr. Frank Rumore is the most arrogant and unprofessional doctor I have ever had the misfortune of treating me. Dr. Rumore is quite quick with his script pad because he doesnâ??t care to waste his time â?¦ perhaps thatâ??s not a good thing. His treatment is so poor that I decided to write this rating, as well as to report my detailed experience of his service to United Health Care, my insurance carrier. I usually do not have time for this sort of thing. In closing, you would be well advised to Google his name and check him out for yourself on this and other rating sites â??beforeâ?? you decide to seek treatment from him. I sure wish I had!

This was my first visit to Dr. Rumore-I sought out Dr. Rumore to replace my current doctor because my insurance no longer covered him as a provider. I found Dr. Rumore to be straight forward and to the point yet kind and sympathetic to my unique situation. He listened to my explanation of my life with interest and concern. At the end of the session based on what I had told him of my current condition which envolved taking no more medication that I had made on my own that it would not be necessary to continue medication and no follow up appointment would be necessary. I felt satisfied with the decision and we parted ways. I felt good about my first visit and would recommend him to others in need of a doctor.

Terrible doctor. Can't be bothered to provide the information that an intelligent patient needs when having to take prescription medicine. Will not be seeing him again and will recommend against him at every opportunity. I would put a negative "Bedside Manner" if I could. Also watch out for his contact that charges you full prices for an accidental missed appointment. They are nasty about it. I can understand some fee for it to make sure you don't miss it again but the full fee is a terrible policy that I have not seen anywhere else. Instead they loose patients like they did me. It should not be considered if you want someone who cares about his work and not just about money.

I brought my then 16 year old to him for medication management because there are no Psychiatrist in my City that treat teenagers. He was fine but his office staff is rude and horrendously unprofessional and uneducated at their job. I added my daughter to my insurance so she would have a secondary plan. Gave the Dr the card and let him know that she now had dual coverage. I then started receiving EOBs showing the $25 copay which was for the secondary plan. I called and left a message because no one ever answered their phone there. never received a call back, continued receiving EOBs with the $25 copay, called a few more times and finally got a call today (she left a message). She tells me, "oh, we are understaffed and don't do secondary billing so shes sending me the superbills to do it myself." It would have been nice for Dr Rumore to tell me that and for her to answer my repeated calls BEFORE the billing limitations ran out with the insurance company! Very unprofessional.
