My Background
After spending time on the East Coast, graduating with a degree in English at the University of Maryland at College Park, I returned to my childhood home to attend medical school at the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine. Exchanging the sand and sunny skies for the arborous beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I completed my internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. My nephrology fellowship was completed down the road at U.C. Davis and I began my practice here at Kaiser Permanente in 2011, settling in the idyllic footsteps of the Northern California cascades.
On a Personal Note
My wife and I enjoy all the sights and sounds that "NorCal" has to offer, but really spend most of our time catering to the every whim of our dog, Boomer.
I enjoy reading, the aural calligraphy that is karaoke, and dabbling in sports like basketball and volleyball.
