In my 64 years I have never experienced the lack of professionalism as I have with this doctor. On several occasions after a visit for an illness he would tell me if I have further complications to go to an urgent care rather than return to his office and I think that I have now figured out why. My insurance mandates a hefty discount for services so he would prefer to see patients that have insurance that provides him more money with lower service discount requirements. Today I had to call for a prescription refill that my pharmacy wasn't able to get filled through normal channels and the nurse called back and said that he wouldn't fill the prescription until I came in for an appointment. This is a prescription that I have been taking for years and rather than having his office practice a little due diligence and contact me priory to let me know this, I now have one pill left and no refill. He would rather see me without my needed prescription rather than provide a 30 day prescription… to see that I'm being taken care of until I can get in his office for an appointment. You never know who you're going to see when you go into his office as he always has interns doing his job for him. There are plenty of doctors out there, I'd suggest calling a different one!

Lost my insurance and he saw me at a reduced rate. Now I have insurance that he does not accept but I still want to go to him. Sometimes the wait is a little long but that is because he gives you the time and does not rush you out.
