Dr. Frederick A Church, DO

First time and last time visit. I was judged from the get go made out to be a liar and left feeling like a junkie. I have been on the same prescription for 5 years never took more only took less so not much of an abuse case there. Even after finding out I was in fact telling the truth I never got an apology instead I got rehab information! This guy should not be practicing medicine. I was told to go pretty much go cold turkey on a drug that requires a slow taper, and then he prescribed me an SSNI which in conjunction with the side effects of not having the other prescription could cause serious issues. Very smug attitude just makes you feel uncomfortable. A very bad experience. Pass on this one unless you like to feel worse than you did before your doctors visit...

Very frustrated with my dealing with Dr. Church. He jumps to conclusions on what he thinks is going on, and didn't seem to listen to me. I was diagnosed twice by other Drs with Bell's Palsy, thus being put on a steroid and antibiotic treatment. Dr Church was trying to follow a possible diabetic diagnosis, and sending me twice to get blood drawn to check blood sugar levels. I have come to learn from RNs, (one of them being his nurse) that you can not get a clear A1C reading for blood sugars until you are at least 3 months off of Prednisone. So I have WASTED $356 of my savings to get false readings. As my Dr. I would expect him to know this. Called to cancel another upcoming blood test, because I am back on Prednisone because another outbreak of Bell's, and get a call from his office to come in to be diagnosed. Ummmm, already did that 1 1/2 weeks ago, did you not read my file. So much more I could write, but to much detail. Anyway I would highly advise anyone, to go somewhere else!!!

Dr Church as always taken the time to hear and answer all questions. He uses other recourses to refer to specialized doctors when needed. Dr. Church greets me with a smile and total focus on each question I bring and brings knowledge to annual physcial changes or findings and makes suggestions for corrections in my health and wellness.

Dr. Church has always been great, but the whole appointment experience has improved dramatically over the past couple of years. Very friendly and efficient on the phone and in the office. Highly recommended

Dr. Church is the best primary care doctor I've ever had, bar none. He has always listened well, and he suggests different treatment options when they apply. Aside from that, he's also just a really nice guy.

The staff at College Park are kind, patient, caring and professional. I would not think of going elsewhere. Two minutes with Dr. Church and you will realize why.

I've been a patient of Dr. Church for 16 years - he spends the time necessary to diagnose & treat you, and makes a plan for treatment. He really is a fantastic Doctor!
