I believe that having a great smile has the power to change a person’s life. As an orthodontist, I look forward to giving each one of my patients a smile that shines with confidence. The ability to give my patients the smiles they’ve always dreamed of is the most rewarding part of my job as an orthodontist.
Education and Experience
I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery and Master of Science degree at Washington University School of Dentistry. I am board certified by the American Board of Orthodontists and am a full clinical professor on the graduate orthodontic faculty at the University of Texas Dental Branch.
I am a former President of the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists and received the Society's Martin E. Dewey Distinguished Service Award. I am an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and received their James E. Brophy Distinguished Service Award. I am also a Fellow in the American College of Dentists and the International College …of Dentists.
I have been practicing in Houston/Sugar Land, Texas since 1963. I am a Certified Provider for Invisalign® and have a special interest in TMJ treatment.
I have a reputation in the community for delivering quality orthodontic care to children and adults. I employ advanced techniques, including dental laser and mini orthodontic implants, to accomplish beautiful smiles for all of my patients.
Outside the Office
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife, Dianne, my son and daughter, and two grandsons. I enjoy playing golf, hunting, and going to the beach. I am also an Eagle Scout and a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist church.
